Characters

Here we present the central and minor characters featured in The Legend of Dragoon.

Dart

Dart is a warrior swordsman on a quest to avenge his parents' death by destroying the Black Monster. He posesses the soul of the Dragoon, which made Rose curious about him when they first met. He is very loyal and kind to Shana, his closest childhood friend. In the end, though, his destiny will take him far beyond a simple quest for revenge.

Shana

Shana is Dart's closet childhood friend. There is something strange about her, so strange that powerful men want her imprisoned. She stands bravely with her Bow and Arrow, always saying "I can fight too!" when someone tells her to stay back. She is very loyal to her friends and often flirts with Dart, but of course he doesn't notice thinking she's more of a "little sister."

Lavitz

Lavitz is the First Knight of the first Corps and is King Albert's most trusted warrior. He is a very powerful ally and he and Albert share the same powers. (You'll see why at the end of Disc 1) He is a third generation Serdian knight and allegiance to his lord stands above all else. He is Dart's best bud and tries to make Dart see how much Shana loves him. He is very protective towards everyone, especially King Albert.

Rose

Rose is a mysterious warrior woman who happens to save Dart from being killed by a dragon. She suspects something about him and secretly follows him. In the town of Hoax, Rose awakens the Dragoon within Dart. She is very powerful and posesses dark magic. She stands beside Dart in many battles, but keeps her distance towards everyone.

Haschel

Haschel is a 60-year-old martial arts expert on a quest to find his lost daughter who ran away years ago. He is only serious in times of crisis, but other than that, he greets the world with a hearty laugh. Somehow, he feels a strange connection to Dart and fights by his side. He is a very strong ally and very kindhearted.

Albert

King Albert reigns in the counrty of Basil. He is deeply loved by his subjects, especially Lavitz, who is his closest friend and most trusted knight. Both he and Lavitz share the same powers. Albert would have been king of all Serdia, but a royal dispute over ascension to the thrown split the kingdom in two. His rival, Emperor Doel, rules the Empire of Sandora.

want to piss off! Lloyd is a magnificent swordsman with brilliant silver hair. He uses the Dragon Buster, which can destroy the powerful dragons in one blow! Very suspicious, he hungers for a world that has long since passed, for he is one of the last surviving Winglies. He takes the Moon Gem away from Albert, but unfortunately takes something much more important. Dart follows Lloyd to see what he's up to, but what happens goes beyond imagination.

The Hooded Man

He is a very mysterious and shadowy fellow who gives orders from the shadows. He orders for the imprisonement of Shana, but is connected to even dark deeds.

Melu

Melu is a fiesty young girl from Donau who would prefer fighting than thinking things through. She also has the same silver hair as Lloyd, maybe there's a connection? She is considered the best dancer at Donau and helps Dart to retrieve his father's momento which is stolen in Disc 2. She is an average fighter and overly hyper over everything.

Kongol

Kongol is the last of the Gigantos and is one of Dart's enemies at first. Beginning in Disc 2, he saves everyone and joins them. Very strong, kind, and loyal, Kongol makes another good addition to your party.
