"Murder..."

Tell me fellow Monks is it right too kill innocents...

I don't think so...

But the fact that a Scribe was just SLAUGHTERED right next to me, it's blood practically drenching my robe may make my decision irrelevant...

Lenore, friend of Scribe.

Umm...I guess most know my view on this already, but, no Lenore, it is not right, it never is...and never will be...umm, thats that...

Little sister

It depends on who commited the deed. There are those who make a "living" from such acts. But it is against our guild code to kill an innocent.

Brother Tarantio

Umm...pray tell, brother Tarantio...how can the slaying of an innocent be right because it was performed by some person rather than another? Hmm...are some allowed to put themselves above the laws and the gift of life, while others aren’t?

Little sister

Not entirely, but some people follow other gods. And as you will know it is part of our nature to appease our gods. If Kali were to command that all Ogre's and those of Ogre blood, the her command should be carried out, it is the same as if the followers of leoni must send some souls of innocents to her. It is not my place to force other's into our ways. i merely try to follow the teachings of our gods. I dont claim to know why others will follow their paths, but each of us has our own path do we not?

Brother Tarantio

I believe that people should do what they feel is correct and follow what thier gods say accordingly but is it correct for a MONK to Murder...

Lenore, friend of Scribe.

Everyone is a murderer in Cosrin..how do you think we get our levels? Asking the monsters nicely to give us EXP?

Mercedes, ever heard of shamans?

Tigereye

Dear Lenore and fellow monks,

According to the will of our Guild Elders, as is written in our Guild Charter:

" 7. The guild strongly opposes the killing of innocents, especially those that may enter the guild. The guild should be a safe place for all, and violence should be left outside whenever possible. The slaying of innocents is against all we strive for. Violence, though necessary in defense and self-preservation, never solves any problems, and usually causes more harm than good."

Harmonee

Thank you Harmonee, just what I wanted to hear...
