First Rogue's GM

Hey all! Just thought I'd drop a little line in and start with Merlordd's story time.. stand on his soap box to MANY groans Hey hey now!! We'll have NONE of that! Anyway.... I'll start off with a great story of how our guild got it's first Guild Master....

Long ago...all of the guilds were in chaos, as there were factions vying for power within them. Most of all the Rogues, heck the guild was called the Thieves Guild back then! Of course there were two sides to the conflict the Rogues and the Thieves. Now you might be thinking well didn't the Rogues win since our guild is called the Rogues now. Well not really...it was just because Rogues seemed to fit us more...but really I'll get back to that. So anyway, there was a lot of troubles, and Kali saw this, and was displeased. Of course something was quickly done! The first elections for the position of Guild Master were held, I myself abstained from participating, considering I didn't feel ready for such an undertaking, but several rogues threw in their hats so to say. I was contacted by the powers to be the tabulator of the votes per se. So I went about the task of collecting all the ballots from the Rogues of the land and counting the votes up. It ended up that Protean, an excellent rogue and a dear friend, had won the elections! There was a great celebration, as all the guilds had their electees in power. The realms became more stable and the guilds created their first charters, a list of the rules of the guild, and many other things. This was a great time for all the guilds, and a great time for the Rogues.
