Frustrated with the lack of racial purity among the OLBBL, the Rage of Teranion formed in March, 2006 to sweep away the racially impure.
Tie100-120Pirates of the CaribbeanNomorAraby1-11-364,000100,000  It was a good first game. The underhanded pirates used a pair of cards to prevent all of our tuchdown attempts in the first half except one. In the second, several bad dodges allowed them to tie it and we failed to get a chance to return due to a riot.
Tie107-109BoogermakersGrillratOrc1-10-147,00040,000+ 10k gift An impotent feeling game for the Rage. We were generally pushed around by the orcs and couldn't ever seem to dodge away from them to get the upper hand. Stopped them in the first, but didn't have enough steam left to keep them from tying it at the end.
The season ended shortly after the rage were incorporated, so with only a couple of exhibition games under their belts, they prepared to move up to a full season ofregular games.
Win114-123Zimm's HaremMr. ZimmAraby2-12-458,00080,000+ 70k bribe Our first game in a real season. We lent him 10k at the start and he gave us all his winnings in return for it and his players not striking. In turn ten, a lord of dragons and a noble prince were injured. The team went berserk, stealing the ball and sprinting away for a second touchdown.
Win126-117Dynamite 7Vt 102Chaos4-12-148,00090,000 +1We played a clean (non-fouling) big match against this mighty chaos team and the elves shone brightly. In part because they are good and pure and in part because nuffle totally screwed the chaos. After a commanding 4-0 lead, they asked and we allowed them to run in a consolation touchdown.
Win136-122Awesome BitchesMazzixDark Elf4-03-165,00050,000 +1This was an excellent match-up, against some racially pure dark elves. Our ancient enemy, the ideal team to test us. Of course, we preformed spectacularly, shutting our darker cousins out completely and scoring a plethora of touchdowns. We also managed to kill two of them, but they used magic to save the lives.
Win147-198Knossos KrushMr. ZimmMinotaur2-02-357,00050,000+ 10k bribe+1In a brave event, we took on some huge minotaurs, impressed with their choice to avoid allies. It was a dicey game, with a couple of noble elves saved from brutal death at the hands of the minos, but we stood brave. A couple of good steals and the win was ours.
Win154-137Dwarven SwordsmenMr. ZimmDwarf3-02-255,00080,000 +1Confident in our abilities, we decided to take on another traditional enemy of our noble race, the earth digging dwarves. Somehow our normal morale failed us and we had no rerolls in the first half. It didn't slow us down much, but they did cause the team considerable injury (2 mng, 1 niggle).
Win168-135Blades of DestinyJumdarBrettonian2-18-390,00060,000 +1Our recovery game against some noble knights started very poorly, with them gaining five cards to our one and both trees showing immediately. Through careful elf play, we managed to score one in the first and prevent the return. With less good (but good enough) play in the second, we scored the game winner and allowed their brutalized team a grace touchdown.
Tie181-208AnimalsMTKnifeDark Elf2-24-3100,000100,000+40k gift+1With an outstanding record, a mighty dark elf team took on the Rage to take us down a notch or two. There was a huge turnout for the big match and we outplayed them well in the first. Only a very lucky long bomb tied it for them going into the half. Then they hurt us a lot (10 players for next game). Sadly, we failed an easy 2+ dodge with a rr on the last turn of the game to score a winning touchdown
Win202-188Nerd Inc.MarleiBrettonian3-23-2111,00050,000-20k gift+1A harsh recovery game, with only ten valiant elves on the field to start the game. We even had to use our healer to coax the niggled lineman to play. Things went alright in the first, with them scoring and us returning. In the second we took the lead, but with only five players left couldn't stop their return to tie. Amazingly, in the last seconds of teh game a huge Eagle Eyed long bomb in the rain gave us the win!
Tie210-199Division BellVilaHuman1-12-4135,00080,000-70k gift+1Despite our healers efforts, a couple of players came down with the flu prior to the match and couldn't play. After a brutal first hit against our catcher, we were down to only eleven players on turn one. Late in the second, with the game still scoreless, our grandmaster of magics failed with a lightning bolt which would've given us the easy win. Instead, we had to use some fancy elven tricks in order to come away with the tie on the last turn.
Win215-252Six Feet UnderMr. ZimmUndead3-03-495,00060,000-40k gift+1An old dead team, with more practice than ourselves and lots of skill. We challenged them because they are exactly the type of team who should not be playing our game. Impressed with our superb ferocity, a Lord of Shadows joined us from the crowd! With his bolstering the team, we cruised to a victory, despite their everlasting lives. To round out an excellent game, our passer became stronger!
Win233-279Division BellVilaHuman2-11-3133,00090,000-10k gift A rematch against the team we had so much trouble with earlier in the season. This time, we outnumbered them, so despite some bad fouls and lots of wasted rerolls, we managed to come through with a win. Interestingly, when the Lord of Shadows tossed the ball into the crowd and his identical twin brother threw it back, we hired him as well.
Tie252-202Sunnydale SlayersMTKnifeWood Elves3-34-294,00040,000-40k gift+1A precious divisional game to try and get into the minor tournaments. What a brutal game it was. We each left with a permanent injury. At the end of the game we had a player sitting and they had five players sitting! We did, however, get six skills out of the game.
Feeling good about their training, Rage enlisted themselves in the Vetran Coach Tourney, to try and gain the skills of a world-famous coach.
Loss250-250WrathOniChaos1-24-8100,00020,000  We scored easily to start and then failed a couple of crucial rolls which (barely) prevented us from stopping their return. In the second, we lost too many players too quickly and couldn't score. We stopped them from scoring, but they received in overtime and had a full eleven on the field.
