1. What is Afterlife about?
The game takes place in England, and everyone on the planet has mysteriously disappeared. Erynn, Pigeon, Valynna, Jeofealia, Ruthless and Kotre, decide to follow the road and explore the road that lies before them.
You are what they find.
2. What is an RPG?
An RPG is a Role Playing Game. You provide yourself with a character, this character is your tool in the RPG. Your character can look whatever you want it to look like, behave however you want it to behave. It can be based on your best friend
3. How do I participate in an RPG?
RPGs are played via email by writing, in order to play the RPG you will need to have an active email account and plenty of time to read the posts that land in your inbox. Not only will you receive posts, but a newsletter, to prevent any confusion.
4. Do I need any past experience in an RPG to play?
There is no need to have any past experience to join, if you are new to the concept of RPGs please read the following question, which explains how to post, if you are still unsure about posting please ask any of the GMs and they will be happy to help you.
5. What is a post?
In this RPG you will be asked to write a post. A post tells other players what you are writing about, posts are given numbers. This tells us what order the posts are supposed to be read in. A post number is 1 + the previous post number.
6. How do I post?
Everyone posts differently in RPGs but there are always basic rules on how to display actions, thoughts and the most commonly used, speech.
To use
~Speech- Name of character: Wow what lovely weather
~Thought- oO( what does this do?) note: please only display your own characters thoughts.
~Action- :::Erynn Picks up the cup and burns a hole in the bottom using the lighter:::
~In Character (IC): tells everyone that you are in character
~Out of Character (OC): tells everyone that you are out of character, this is so you can add comments about the site, or simply say hi to other members of the RPG.
~Post end: You end a post by writing your character name and what vehicle they are in. you can also add contact information such as screen names for Yahoo, AIM/AOL, ICQ number or any other instant message service.

~Subject Line: If you are posting the subject line should read
Post #000, Character Name, (RPG Date and time)
NOTE: Subject Lines is not an option this is how it should be set out, if you don’t know the time just put Time-Unknown in its place
7. Who controls the RPG?
Game Masters or GMs control the RPG. GMs have the right to terminate accounts.
There are multiple GMs to this RPG and all GMs must agree before taking this action.
If any one commits any offence that is against the rules eg being abusive to another member of the RPG, murder without consent. there account will be deleted without discussion. The GMs have special email address (those with GM/gm at the front)
There are also other important email addresses to send queries to.

You are responsible for everything in your posts.
The welcoming email that is sent once your form has been processed has all the necessary information you need to begin posting. If you have questions that have not been answered here please get in contact with Valynna or leave a message on our communities message board.
Attachments should not be downloaded. Any files that are going to be downloaded are in the AfterLife Community under 'The Archive'
