Welcome to the Wildeholme Site Map. The purpose of this page is to give you a better understanding of what Wildeholme is, and how it works. Each of the separate sections are listed below, with a description. Beneath these descriptions you will find a visual mapping of the various Wildeholme pages.
Wildeholme
Wildeholme is the main page of this website. It is crafted
to resemble a city, and is intended to replicate a city, in the style of
Arctic’s zones, as far as its setup goes. Crafted partly from dreams, and
based on a zone I made in the past on another MUD, Wildeholme is an island-citadel
that acts as a place of neutrality and houses various institutions of higher
learning. It is the first public website I have created, and is in a continual
state of construction. Most of its citizens are based on characters I have
played, or friends I have met, some from other muds, most from Arctic.
Wildeholme currently has only a few structures, but will contain more in
the future. These structures are: the Griffon’s Den, the Training
Grounds, the Hall of Archives, and the D’Har Ergoti.
Griffon’s Den
Crafted to resemble a tavern or pub, the Griffon’s Den
is a meeting place for journeymen, seekers, wanders, and citizens alike.
It acts as a storehouse for logs that don’t have a specific purpose other
than story-telling (not fake logs, just logs without purpose). Most of
these logs are humorous in nature.
Training Grounds
Those who wish to pursue learning in various forms of
survival , street sense and combat come to the Training Grounds. The Grounds
currently contain one instructor by the name of Morpheas. His "class" contains
a document on protecting yourself from scams.
Hall of Archives
Starting out very humble, though its purpose is fairly
vast and its future should be even more comprehensive. Structured to resemble
a library, it is a storehouse of logs from the past wipe, a listing of
news from the current wipe, and commentaries on the current and past wipe.
In the future, I intend to expand the content of this section to ALL wipes.
Should be interesting, since Arctic has a heck of a large and detailed
history. I may have to contact an ancient player for information on the
Genesis wipe of Hobbes, since I was not around quite that far back!
D’Har Ergoti
This is the Wildeholme links page. If I can catch all
of the Arctic-related websites that I am looking for, this will be the
page to go to if you are looking for Arctic based pages. Keep in mind,
some clans only host private websites, and not all of them have one, so
it is limited to public pages and personal pages placed out for us by Arctic’s
players. I will organize it better at some point in the future. Ergoti
currently has five sections:
