This was originally made for Valentine's day, and I meant to sell it. That never happened, and so this little pink kitty has been waiting for a long time to find a home. He's one of my favorites of my "cousins" as he has an incredibly smooth finish, and lovely eyes. His whiskers are made of wire, and are baked into the clay.

This piece was built over an aluminum foil armature for extra strength. This is the largest (to date) of my 3-D polymer clay work. The lovely blue dragon you see is about 8 inches long. He was made as a birthday gift for a friend, who is a fan of Adventure Gaming, and dragons in particular. His favorite color is blue, thus the dragon was blue. (Fo you D&D fans, this is a rogue, non-evil blue dragon.)

This is the closeup of the fellow mentioned earlier. I made him while sitting in the faculty lounge of the school where a friend teaches. The dragon is set on a small oval mirror, and is surrounded by pond grasses, lilies, and lilypads. He seems totally entranced with the butterfly on his nose. I must admit, I think his expression is adorable.

I think this is what happens when a baby dragon climbs a palace tower. He almost looks like a kitten up a tree who can't figure out how to climb down. These pictures were taken BEFORE I realized that he needed another coat of lacquer to make him shiny.

One of my favorite and bst pieces to date. This is "Lithelimb the Ent." He is built over an aluminum foil armature. His crown is made of plastic leaf garland, and his eyes, and those of his companion are tiny glass beads. I am truly proud of the expressiveness of his face, and the texturing on his skin.
