System: Edges

Discern- Perception + Zeal last 10 minutes per success. Can also be used to determine specific type of supernatural with 2 success. User suffers no penalties for being blind with this Edge activated.

Burden- Stamina + Zeal difficulty Stamina + 3. Must keep eyes locked on target, affected creature can move no more than one foot from place they are rooted too. Target can use supernatural powers to teleport or leave area by using Stamina + ability Difficulty 7 or Zeal rating, depending on which is higher.

Balance- Wits + Zeal, difficulty Stamina + 2. Affected creature Cannot use any power or perform any action that requires supernatural energy. Willpower Cannot be spent to use supernatural powerbut can be used for mundane feats such as automatic success while performing an action. Lasts one hour per success even if Hunter leaves the area.

Cleave- Dexterity + Brawl or Melee, +2 lethal damage. On conjured weapons the roll is Strength +2 lethal damage

A brief summarization of Seth's Exploits. Role played in the summer of 2001.

Seth is a bank thief, a well known one who robbed a bank in L.A. of $500,000. He was then chased on a tristate manhunt, finally apprehended in Arizona where he surely faced a life sentance. However, he was caught after he had already stashed his loot. He would have faced his court date, had not his brother, Richie Geckko made a daring daylight rescue on route to California. The two of them escaped to Mexico with their cash in hand, where their lives would be forever changed.

Little did they know, that Mexico was a haven for Vampires. Having stopped in a strip club with their hostages they had taken, they soon found themselves beset with a horror their minds couldnt comprehend. The club was a feeding ground for the fierce vampires, who made no attempt to hide their true nature. Seth, Richie and the hostages soon found themselves in the fight for their lives as the establishment turned into a bloodbath. It was here that Seth and Richie recieved their Calling. Instead of being scared of the vampires, Richie and Seth fought back. They found out that they had newfound abilities, that they used in slaying the monsters , one by one. However, Richie was slain, and Seth was forced to drive a stake into his brothers heart. Seth barely escaped the place with his life and loot, and he then wandered around, trying to find meaning in life with his newfound knowledge and abilities. He learned much and he devoted himself of ridding the world of the Rots that took his Brother, his only family, from him. He shunned any contact with other Imbued, as they call themself, prefering to play the Most Dangerous Game on his own terms.

Seth wandered Mexico, killing the Rots and Undead he came across, many times barely escaping with his life, but each encounter only furthering his determination and Conviction for the Hunt. When he learned of a plot by the Rots to gain an artifact of immense Power, Seth realized that the Vampires were more organized than he had given them credit for in the past. They were not just mindless killing machines, in fact they were ruthless manipulators of the "Free World". Seth decided that his fight was better fought back in the States. Risking incarceration, he came back to the States, Blood on his mind and Anger in his heart. He did not howeer foolishly kill any Rot he came across, rather he watched the prominent ones, and decided if they were worth saving. His idea of saving however, is usually whether or not they die Quickly or Slowly.

Seth Devoted 4 years to the Hunt, playing Judge, Jury and Executioner to the Undead. In the course of his Hunts he allied himself with other Imbued, using them as he needed only to get to a Vampire he had been watching for some time. On the Hunter-Net, he became a subject of controversy, since his apparent lack of regard for the law drew attention to himself and Other Imbued. A few hotheaded Imbued decided that he was a threat that had to be silenced to protect themselves from retaliation from the Vampires. This gave Seth more than Undead Foes to contend with. Seth became embroiled in a brutal gunfight in New Orleans, where authorities speculate that the incident was sparked by "gang activity." Authorities reported Seth Geckko as killed in the battle. Not reported (or glossed over) was the fact that several other people were found dead at the scene as well, most without any affiliation with any gang of any sort and some torn to pieces literally.

Seth however did not die in the gunfight and was able to barely get away from the Hospital authorities had taken him too. Seth used his new found status as "deceased" to his advantage and disappeared, determined to continue his Hunt despite the risk of losing his own life. In fact it became almost an obsession for him, his robberies commited almost as an afterthought to fund his increasing campaing against the creatures of the night.

Seth is usually quite vocal, and can get even more so when alchool is a factor. He is violent, moody, yet at the next moment, upbeat and manic. He is a quick planner and a natural leader. He refuses to associate with the others like himself, even though he has been contacted by Various Organizations. His current whereabouts are unknown, although the FBI believes him to be in New York, despite the reports of his death.
