| 701 Sugar Burst | SUGARBURST |
When cast upon a healthy target (which has failed its spirit warding), this will result in all the sugar within the target's body escaping through the anus and forming a super-sweet lollipop. Each successive casting will increase the lollipop size by at least 1 pound. NOTE: Due to the nature of some creatures, such as mineral golems and massive anchovies, they may create salt blocks instead.

| Causes the target to overflow with emotion. They will cry, they will laugh, they will confront the pain in their soul and learn to live with the awful truth. This spell is invaluable in any Sorcerer's arsenal, because these days they have alot to cry about.

DURATION: 1 second The target will briefly remember the last spell that they cast. In some rare instances, remembered spells can be cast again, but due to the short duration, timing is key. This spell is also useful for amnesia victims that need split second images to flash through their mind to restore their memory. This spell is extremely easy to resist.

This spell allows the caster to phart with such force that they blow the seat out of their trousers. If they're wearing a skirt, all creatures in the area must make a warding roll or suffer a rank 3 stink injury. In some cases, this may create a death cloud as a side effect. NOTE: Due to the extremely short duration of this spell, the caster can only phart once unless they've recently had beans.

| The target becomes a little warm. If there is any ice nearby it has a small chance of melting. On extremely large warding failures, the target may break out into a light sweat as well. When used on a frigid winter day, this spell may also prevent frostbite and hypothermia.

DURATION: 1 sec/1 failure Causes the target's body to be pumped full of Jolt Cola. The sudden infusion of caffine may serve to make the target nervous, jumpy and anxious. In rare instances, this spell may cause strokes and heart attacks. This spell is also useful for those late nights spent powerhunting just so you can catch up to your kids.

DURATION: 30sec/level Maximum duration: 10 minutes Both of the caster's eyes begin to produce excessive amounts of a clear salty fluid. This act is known as crying or weeping. Sorcerers, unlike most other professions, have every excuse to cry all day and all night, due to how badly they've been cheated. As such, this powerful spell has become an important part of every Sorcerer's spellbook.

DURATION: 30sec/5 failure Target stubs his or her toe and hops around in pain. It is not very pleasant at all and in fact, hurts like hell. For this reason, Stub Toe is the single most lethal spell at a Sorcerer's disposal. NOTE: Vashtee's toes are too precious to be effected by this spell. If any Sorcerer is foolish enough to attempt to cast this on Vashtee, not only will they fail but their eyes, hair, teeth and nails will rot away and fall out.

When overwhealmed with the threat of inevitable death, a Sorcerer can Quiver. This technique makes the caster seem like a spineless jellyfish and can cause enemies to take pity on the caster's hopeless and grief-striken state. NOTE: Quivering lowers DS by 475 points. Use this spell sparingly or you may find yourself in serious trouble!

DURATION: variable The caster summons happy energy to swirl around him or her, creating a beautiful rainbow which will shine on everyone and everything in the room, giving them the warm fuzzies. This spell is powerful indeed and when cast by a Master Sorcerer, leprechauns are often summoned along with the rainbow.

| Have you ever been sitting in your chateau and realized that you're out of firewood? Tired of paying outragous prices for overly dry split logs? Well, here's the answer to your prayers. When cast at a tree, this spell causes a limb, suitable for firewood, to snap off and fall to the ground. Sorcerers should also find this a very quick and easy way to make money if they choose to sell their firewood.

| The caster summons forth two six-sided dice from the great beyond and tosses them to the ground. The results are completely random, making this fun and exciting spell suitable for gambling and games of chance.

DURATION: 1 sec/1 failure, Maximum 90 seconds. When under the effects of this spell, the caster will daydream about being powerful and actually being able to kill something. While under the effects of Daydream, the caster cannot move, speak or even think of anything else.. NOTES: This spell does not work on Dwarves, they lack the mental power neccissary to Daydream.

The caster will begin to use profanity with such zeal that all around them will be offended, but because GemStone III is a family oriented game, all swear words will be replaced by neat little symbols. DURATION: 1 year This spell vaccinates the target against such diseases as the flu, small pox, malaria, polio and mumps. While this spell is in effect, you are completely immune to the effects of such spells. This spell will never be useful because these diseases don't exist in Elanthia. But that just makes it more fitting for the Sorcerer spellbook!

Certainly the target of this spell will believe this to be the case, as the sorcerer summons the power to instill joy to the very root of the target's being by turning his or her eyes into big yellow smiley faces. Sometimes the target will dance in the room, or giggle, unable to move because of the humor. Other times, if the target is a player, s/he may not stop giggling at the caster until the cows come home. DURATION: variable This spell creates a large red tomato for the caster to eat or throw at people. If cast at another person and the target fails a spirit warding, they will briefly change into a tomato. At this point, the caster may opt to pick them up and eat them. If the warding is failed by enough, the target may bypass the tomato stage and become ketchup. If cast on a vaporized corpse, it will make sloppy joes.

Targets of this spell will have their magical energy, be it elemental or spiritual, ripped from them and converted into butterflies which will float around Elanthia. The amount of butterflies made is dependent on the target's current amount of magical power and the failure of their spirit warding. Targets with little magical energy will not be significantly affected by this spell. Part of the magical energy drained from the target becomes bumblebees - the amount of bumblebees created is dependent on the amount taken, as well as the target's Mana Transfer skill.

| So your spouse died and the Constable decided you weren't fit to raise your kids, but you still want custody of them? This spell will really help you out. When cast, an imp from the demon world, trained in the skills needed to be a successful court liaison will appear in a puff of smoke. The imp will yell at you because you're a lazy bum and when you finally sober up and get your act together, the imp will let the Constable know that you are now a suitable parent.

DURATION: variable This spell will allow the caster to summon specific, unique daffodils to (hopefully) smell pleasant. Woe to the caster who accidentally summons up a nasty smelling flower. The immediate effects would most likely include something extremely unpleasant, like having to pinch your nose.
