The Purpose of the Family
Since the beginning the Devoracc Family was a group creation. The Devoracc family was first created while sitting around in a room with friends I used to role-play with in the past. During that time we still role-played together, but not as much .. and usually when we ran into each other by accident. During that night, we complained how Role-Players who have been around for a while usually complain. But in the end we decided to create a family. For us to role play togther more often and to bring plots back into our role-playing lives.

To many poor locals our family was, and is, just a rich merchant family with some political power. To those above us in the social ladder, some knew what we truely were and bought us for our services during one time or another. When it comes time to the city as a whole being attacked for whatever reason the Devoracc Family is usually there to help in any way they possibly can - fighting, suppling, training, etc.

The Devoracc Family:

  • The family lives during the Renaissance age, of upper class birth and social class but they are not Nobility.
  • By blood we are human with some magical abilities.
  • Most of the family lives within the city. The main house is the Devoracc Manor which resides just outside the city.
  • Children are tutored with the proper education for a rich merchant family in the Renaissance
  • Around the age of 10, each child chose two (2) or three (3) areas in wich they wanted to learn about and perhaps do for family as an adult. By the age of 13 they were to chose one which they would be skilled in.
  • Beyond the languages they grew up with (Common and Latin), the orginal siblings knew varying degree's of surface elf and drow.
  • Even with the feuds within the family, we are loyal to the family and shall protect our siblings and other family members when the time calls for it.
  • In the end - the family must agree to whom everyone courts and marries.
