While you are sleeping, I am at play

Daddy is still in Iraq, but I think of him everyday! I smile everytime I hear his voice.
Every night I say "Goodnight, Dad-ee!" to his storytime video. I listen to mommy more
now, but still struggling with expressing myself. I like school! I play a lot with my friends
and make a lot of art! Our playgroup went to Taunus Wonderland last week and we had
so much fun! I got kidnapped my Mr. Grouch in Wiesbaden and learned how to throw
rocks into the river with the Raya Family. I now climb into my carseat on my own and
help mommy bring in groceries. I like to play in our yard...splashing in the pool and
throwing rice and sand from my sandbox (especially on Cole!). Mommy has to make sure
I have shorts on or else I'll be streaking naked! Everywhere we go, I see German flags
flying. It's World Cup fever! Soccer fans are going crazy here. Mommy and I
see flat screen TVs at almost all restaurants with places to eat outside!

Cole is still Cole...I like him at times. He bites on everything and keeps stickng out his tongue.
He has two front teeth coming out on the bottom. Mommy says it's time to put him on the
bottle when he bit her during feeding. I guess it hurt! He sits up on his own, but wobbles
quite a bit and shakes his head side to side. When I feel like it, we play together with MY cars.
Lately, he cries a lot especially when mommy doesn't hold him. She calls him her "Little Stalker".
His cries really bother me, so I bonk him on the head which seems to make him cry harder....
at least he now has a reason to cry! Hey, he taunts me by smiling at me when I'm in time-out.
Mommy just laughs.

Best news! Daddy will be home in about a week! Yay! It's only for 2 weeks and then he has
to go back to Iraq till October. Mommy is busy getting things ready for our Greek Island trip.
We probably won't have a 4th of July page since we'll be on the beach! I can't wait to go
swimming with daddy and splash water on Cole! It'll be the greatest!
