When Time was on Our Side
Written by Nick Ireland
I remember running up Sharon Lane
To Cherry Hill where the children played
Four seasons spent with the sun on our face
We'd rather perish than let our time go to waste
So many rivers that we crossed
So many moments never lost
We ran so fast and flew so high
Back when time was on our side
We rode the waters rapid and still
The undisputed kings of Cedar Hills
Hand in hand over trees and in the dirt
We both felt it when only one hurt
Now you got a wife and place in Eddyville
But I drive Sharon Lane and remember still
Those days spent unlike any other
Fully sharing life with my blood brother
Out here in a world that seems so cold
It's warm thinking of you waiting down this road
