- Use fat free milk instead of whole milk
- Drink water before a meal
- Walk instead of driving whenever you can
- Mow lawn with push mower
- Join an exercise group.
- Get off a stop early & walk
- Don't eat late at night
- Skip seconds
- Grill, steam or bake instead of frying
- Sit up straight at school
- Try your burger with just lettuce, tomato, and onion.
- Make time in your day for physical activity
- Keep to a regular eating schedule
- Dance to music
- Walk briskly in the mall
- Don't skip breakfast
- Try brown rice or whole-wheat pasta
- Drink lots of water
- Try a new fruit or vegetable
- Carry your groceries instead of pushing a cart
- Bake or broil fish.
- Park farther from destination and walk
- Try a green salad instead of fries
- Remove skin from poultry before cooking to lower fat content
