World War Infinity was started in June of 2003 by Jordan Lessig and Brian Kough, after seeing a band that they really liked. So Ian Blair was recruited as the drummer, and their good friend Laurel Senay started to learn bass. The first few practices were held at another friend's house, until the group raised enough money to buy a p.a., mixer, mics, and speakers. After a few months, Lewis Reed became the new bassist. And in June of 2004, Brian left the band. So Jordan became the new guitarist. The group practices as frequently as possible, in Ian's basement. So far, the group has played 9 shows, including two in Baltimore!! (ooh, aren't you jealous??) World War Infinity has a unique style, blending classic punk, alternative rock, and indie. (Sounds weird, yes, but it's really good.) Their influences come from countless areas of music, so it's impossible to pin them to a single genre.
