The Team
I
have decided to create a local, semi-pro football team, which will be called
the Marlborough Panthers. The city already has a semi-pro team called the
Marlborough Shamrocks, but we will pretend as if they don’t exist. Our team
budget will be about 1.5 million dollars. There will be 50 players on the team,
each earning a base salary of $15,000.
Other cost areas will be Staff salaries, traveling and advertising.
Since we will be playing on a city-owned field and bringing in revenue for the
city, we will not have to pay for stadium maintenance, but we will give them a
cut of each home games profits. Here is how it all
breaks down.

· Shared League Revenue
We expect to make a profit within
the very first year, and from there our money will only increase. Between all of our forms of income we hope to
bring in somewhere close to 3 million per season, 1 million of which will go to
