Ron first learned guitar from his father in the early 60's. His melodic styling is a distinctive part of the Bandits. He subsequently played for a number of groups including the very successful Langley Beach Crowd who secured a record contract with Apple records. Ron next played in an acoustic group called Pegasus. This group recorded at Columbia Records in New York and was produced by John Hammond Sr. Ron moved to the Northwest Territories where he wrote and recorded for CBC. In 1986 his band represented N.W.T at expo 86. Ron has played shows with such entertainers as Brooks and Dunn, 5th Dimension, Dr. Hook, Gordon Lightfoot, Goode Brothers, Murray McLaughlin, and Natalie McMasters. Ron's working life is music. He is currently involved in a recording project in the Metro area.
