Welcome to The Geologic Column web site. My name is Andres and I’m a Geology major {Focusing on Geographic Information Systems G.I.S.) at the University of Texas at Arlington. This site contains the rock and mineral samples that I’ve collected (some I have bought and others friends and family have brought to me) over the past couple of years. There is also a section on geologic outcrops, contact line, and unconformities that I’ve come across both abroad and here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This is one of two different sites I have put together. https://www.angelfire.com/rock3/utms/ is a site of all about the different fossils and their taxonomy from the Mesozoic ear (Triassic through Cretaceous period) and some before that time period that I’ve collected. So take a look around, if you have a question on anything you see please feel free to email at Ptychodus_fred@hotmail.com
