Mantra II Hints

Mountain Shortcut - This "secret" is not shown in the Mantra II Spoiler Guide, nor is it supposed to be there. From the screen that has the entrance to Balther's Castle, take the lower of the two paths on the right of the screen. Go over a screen, down a screen and over one more screen. Then you'll be on the screen where the entrance to the Syzygy Cult lair is. If you find the entrance to the Syzygy Cult and you start going down those mountains, stop, go up instead, and do not turn right or left. Go straight up through the north mountains and you'll be onto another screen which is also connected to the screen that has Balther's Castle Entrance. I'm sure this is not supposed to be in the game, there's nothing special about it... but hey, it's cool!

Small Island - This "secret" is also not shown in the Mantra II Spoiler Guide, and the only way to get to the secret is if you activated cheats at the beginning of the game (holding down Control-Command-C while choosing New Game from the file menu). You must use the teleporting cheat (press T) to get to it. The small island is on Celebor. From the screen where you arrive on Celebor, go north one screen, and west one screen. If you press T now, the teleporter window should say X:6 Y:31! DO NOT PRESS CANCEL HERE, it will take you to X:57 Y:57!!! On the current screen, go to the left of the screen, and go as far down as you can go. Next go as close to the little raise of mountains as you can go. Now press T again and teleport to X:4 Y:31. You should be on a little island that is very small, but convenient for storing things like healing potions.
