Takeorgive: The idea started so long ago... one year in fact. Back in Jr. High School at Kastner, three great friends united by bordom, fueled by insperational melodys, and lacking respect for authority, decided to start a band. Why? Hell if i know. Well, the idea was created, but there were flaws. Lots of them. For one thing, Scott(Lead guitar/ trumpet) and Allen(rythmic guitar/vocals) didn't have or know how to play a guitar. Jared(Drums/B.Vocals) lived very far away from us. None of us knew how to drive. No one could have practice at their house. And we were all dead broke. So, we worked up whatever money we could afford, bought instruments, and practiced. Slowly, we became better. We decided it was time for us to have a name. Although we thought of many good ones, we decided to simply forget about it and worry about it later. That summer came and went. But the dream still lived on. The next school year, there was a split in the group. Allen went to San Joaquin Memoral and Scott and Jared went to Clovis West. It was there that Allen met Steven.(Bass/B.Vocals) The two instantly became friends. Allen wanted Steven to play bass in the band, so he tortured him with red-hot coals until he accepted the offer. So, the group was four now. We decided to finally give ourselves a name. After about two months of randomly pointing to words in the dictionary and changing our name ever 3 minutes, they all decided on a name. TakeorGive And thats how it went down. Takeorgive is the offical name. The band members are Allen Whitney, Steven D'Annibale, Scott Edward, and Jared Williams.
