It was the last day, we wanted to make the best of the last day. So we woke
at 8!
We REALLY put a lot of effort in to wake up this early.
"Good Morning People!"
I have been wondering about
Junya's hand signal. What the hack
does that mean??!!
It's like the "west-side" sign, but it's like all
crooked and screwed up. I dunno...
I know! It must be the "dying fish" sign!!
Talking about Junya, I know you
should have been wondering about
his long long long hair.
He told me that he will have to cut it when
he goes back to Japan and starts attending
a cooking school after this trip.
On the last day, the storm had stopped
crazy fact: Yujin, Junya, and Yuki
actually snowboarded down this
"most difficult" hill.
of course, they "snowboarded" down
the hill like 3 snowballs.
Junya, after we threw a bunch of snow at him
This is the entrance of "Heavenly". Don't you realize how corny this sounds:
"Welcome to Heavenly."
But anywayz, we went up to the high parts of Heavenly (oh, this kills
me) and we had to ride some loooong lifts!
They took like forever. Not really.
but at least like 10 minutes! And your legs could start to get numb coz of
the
weight of the snowboard hanging from your boots. I'm serious!
After riding the lifts forever, we finally got to the top of this course. One
thing that I really hate about getting of those lifts;
they literally push you
off the little hills of the "unloading zones." And it wasn't the until the
3rd day that I finally learned
how to get off those sneaky sneaky lifts without
getting pushed.
Seriously, this photo totally looks like one of those
Mountain Dews commercials (in case if you don't
know what Mountain Dews is, it's a soda brand
name. It's yellow and it looks like pee).
You know, like a guy snowboarding, and then all
a sudden, he busts out his Mountain Dews and drinks
it. And then the big logo of Mountain Dews flies out,
and he says "Drink Mountain Dews!"
And then all the other people say
"Drink Mountain Dews Now!"
And then so we snowboarded until 3 and then we headed back down the hill.
Pretty spectacular.
You know why my face looks funny in this photo?
Because I was like 6 floors high off the ground
and I had nothing but a tiny movable bar to hold
on to AND I had to turn around and take this
photo while half of my butt was like hanging outside.
And this was even more challenging to
get TWO people into the photo frame.
And so my trip was finally concluded with some scenery shots while I was on
the looonng lifts back down.
And that's it! It was the best white Xmas that I ever had!
