Band
history...what else is there to say?
Mike
and Rob's first jam session occured in January 2002. It
was their first and only for a long long time, and didn't
go very well at all. Rob had the most experience playing
in a band since he had been in others before, but this
was Mike's first. He was playing on a cheap 15 watt amp
that could barely be heard over the crashing of the drums.
That
brings us to the year 2003. In February Rob returned home
from the Middle East and the two made an attempt to play
once again. Rob found his way back behind the kit and
picked up where he left off in no time. Mike, now with
much better equipment, more talent, and more experience
performed much better than before. The band "Strange
Trip" was beginning to form.
The
name "Strange Trip" was actually thought of
by Rob on April 27th 2003, while talking to Mike on the
internet (geeks at heart?). They still continue their
search for a bass player and jam whenever Mike is not
hucking electronic gismos, and whenever Rob isn't slicing
and dicing expensive, random meats.
