Me and my roommates
Casondra, Me, and Trina

My name is Stacia Walker and I am attending Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I am majoring in General Studies with minors in Photography, History, and Sociology. I am going into my senior year and live in a house with my sister Trina and friend Casondra. I moved here after graduating from high school in Lawton, Oklahoma. My Dad was in the Army, therefore making me an Army brat. I lived in Selma, Alabama; Fort Knox, Kentucky; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Fort Irwin, California; and Lawton. Even though I grew up everywhere, Louisiana is still my home. So, after I graduated, I went home to be near my Grandfather and to attend Northwestern.

The three top focuses in my life are God, family, and sports. God is first and has been since I accepted Jesus as my savior at age 8. Since that day I have lived my life for Him and according to His law. My family is also important because as my Daddy says, “blood is thicker than water.” Family will be there when no one else is. I have three sisters: Trina is 19 and plays softball for Northwestern, Shira is 17, and Tanna is 15. We all play sports and have played since we could walk. Growing up I played volleyball, basketball, and softball. In Oklahoma I was lucky enough to play in the 5A high school state tournament. Softball was my life and now that I am in college, I play intramural co-ed, women’s church softball, and coach 9-10 year-old little girls. As I get older and time moves on, I know the top three things in my life will always be God, family, and sports.
