Post Political Life
Leon Trotsky's post political life was dedicated to the working class and international socialism. He was also the author of Zimmerwald Manifesto which attempted to unite the revolutionary opponents of the war. In 1917, he played the leading role as the person who organized the insurrection in Petrograd. Trotsky was the first commissioner of foreign affairs after the October Revolution. Leon organized the Red Army and organized the fight between the counter-revolutionary white armies. Together Lenin and Trotsky were a strong willed fighting force.
