A World Full of Sorrow
Hope for the future is at stake,
Depression flows, flooding like a lake,
Too many citizens suffer heartache,
Elusive smiles exist in memories of those at peace,
A hateful disease of excessive frowns have overpowered men,
The only solution is for happiness to cease,
Tears stream fluently like pouring rain,
Every prayer for sunshine is inane,
Every soul is looked upon with disdain,
Cruel hearted men took over the Earth,
Making sure there is no happy birth,
They feel people have no worth,
No optimism in the eyes of the young,
Such songs will never again be sung,
Praises shall never again make it past the tongue,
The world as we know will never be the same,
Though it may be as painful as a burning flame,
We only have our wicked selves to blame
