Random Terms

Lately this summer, some random terms have been lingering in my mind. There is usually one term per week. Here is the list of random terms that I have "been on" this summer, and yes, I will keep adding terms, as they enter my mind...

1. Mild Green - When I went to Cafe Rio in the summer, they asked me what kind of sauce I wanted. I always said, "Mild Green" and for some reason it kind of bothered me. Then I found humor in it.

2. Following Closely - When cars tailgated me, I used to think to myself, "They are following me closely".

3. Lazy Bones - When my sister would sit on the couch while I was doing something productive, I would think to myself, "Lazy Bones".

4. The Jerk Store - My mom used to ask me to go to the store, and the words "Jerk Store" entered my mind shortly after. And yes, "Jerk Store" is from something else, so if you don't know, then too bad.

5. Run Errands - As to not make this one kid upset, I won't explain it.

6. Chastity - Explanation: In my computer networking class, my professor was describing parts to a computer, and he said the word "Chassie", but I heard it as "Chastity", so I thought that was extremely weird, that a computer part would be called the "chastity". But it is really "Chassie".

7. 4:05 (Pronounced "Four Oh Five") - Please! Don't ask! I really don't know how that one entered my mind!

8. Bravenet - Bravenet is a free website service. When I was in maybe 7th grade, I found a Kansas (band) site, under a Bravenet service. This really struck me as odd, just how "Bravenet" sounded. Sounded a bit like "courageous net", or a courageous service. Just barely, I found ANOTHER site under "Bravenet", and I couldn't get it out of my mind since.

9. I'm kickin' my A** - Liar Liar - In case you were wondering what it was from

10. Not a Chance! - I think it was the show "Growing Pains", where this one family did something extremely nice for this one man, and their son asked him if he could take his daughter out on a date, and he said "Not a Chance!"

I know it doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make any sense to me actually, the fact that these terms linger in my mind. It is very strange!
