Castle of Happiness
By Steven Moody
A magnificent castle lies in nearby fields,
Open to everybody, any time, without a cost,
True beauty is seen when entering this glorious place,
I could not enter this happy place,
The doors were brutally locked,
There were no open windows,
When I knocked, nobody answered,
When I screamed, nobody heard,
When I signaled, nobody saw,
Its inner-wonders were far greater than I knew,
Ubiquitous posters, signs, and billboards advertised this remarkable structure,
Everybody in town has seen this tower of beauty,
I cannot pass these selfish gates,
I have no key to make an entry,
I have no welcome in this joyful palace,
My anxious knock reverberated for thousands of miles,
My anxious scream viciously soared across the Earth,
My dazzling signals shined clear to the moon,
I desperately long to see its splendor,
For I have dreamed of its magnificence,
The day will come when I shall enter
