A Strange Blue House

There was a man named David Fredrickson, who lived in Orem Utah, and worked at Comp USA. On October 30, 2003, after working late, he decided to head home. It was 11:00 PM, and it was really cold outside. Before going home, David decided that he wanted to drive by Utah Lake, to 'Enhance' his Halloween experience. When he arrived at Utah Lake, he drove back and forth, hoping to find something ghostly, or weird, but so far, he hadn't seen anything. He parked his car off to the side, and turned his headlights off, and just sat there in silence. He couldn't see anything, and he was alone. About five minutes later, he got out of his car, and started wondering around the Utah Lake area, but he hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary. He decided to give up, and head home. When he got back, the car was on. He felt a little spooked now, so he looked around the car, nobody was there, and he looked inside the car, nobody was there. He decided that he would head home anyway, so he started driving off. He turned on the radio, and started listening to Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl". Two minutes into the song, it suddenly stopped, and there was total silence on Arrow 103.5, the station he was listening to. He sat there for one minute thinking that maybe it was an error, but then he eventually got sick of waiting, so he decided to change the station. When he changed the station, there was silence as well. Suddenly he accidentally rolled down the automatic window, and his hat fell out. He started pushing on the brakes, and then the sound came back on the radio. He saw a four way stop a block ahead, so he decided he would turn around there. After he turned around, he was heading the opposite direction. When he passed the same spot where the radio had started working, the radio turned to silence again. David thought that maybe it was a coincidence, so he parked off to the side, grabbed his hat, and turned around. Right as he passed the same spot where the radio changed from silence to sound to silence, the sound started up again. He slammed on his brakes, went in reverse to pass the spot again, and sure enough, it turned to silence. David was very curious to why this was happening, and what was causing the radio to do this. He jumped out of his car, and looked around the area where the radio was silent. He couldn't find anything, so he went back to his car. When he hopped in, and started driving off, the radio started working again, but David decided to ignore it. Two miles later, he passed a blue house, and right as he passed, the radio went silent. David slammed on the brakes, and went in reverse before he passed the house, and the radio was working again. David couldn't take it any more, so he jumped out of his car, and walked up to the door of the blue house. The blue house had a sign on the door saying, "Nobody lives here anymore, but feel free to come in and look around". David walked in, and saw that the only light available was the light of the moon. David looked for a switch, but he couldn't find one. He walked into a room, and saw a radio sitting on the table. David couldn't resist, so he turned on the radio sitting on the table. Right as he turned it on, he heard loud static, and he heard nothing but this loud static. He changed channels on the radio, until he reached 94.1, and he heard a man talking. He was saying, "Twenty years ago, to this day, nobody has ever found the body of Jonathan Richardson. He used to live in a blue house down by Utah Lake, down by a large corn field, and a small farm. In other news, two young boys are arrested for taping sings to random doors all over Provo saying 'Nobody lives here, but feel free to walk in', News editor Dave Norris joins us now…" Suddenly the radio stopped working, and David realized that he really wasn't welcome inside the house, and he was standing in the home of Jonathan Richardson, a man who's body hasn't been found since 1983. David started feeling really scared now, so he started running to his car, but then an overwhelming temptation overcame him. He had the urge to walk upstairs and look around there, but he was really frightened, and his heart was pounding. When he walked upstairs, he saw a bathroom close by. He wondered if the bathroom still functioned, because he realized he needed to use it. When he walked in he saw a light switch. He closed the door first, and then flipped the switch on. Right as he flipped the light switch on, a candle lit. David was really starting to get scared. He tried opening the door, but somebody was on the other side pushing the door so he wouldn't be able to exit. He yelled, "who's there"? Suddenly a hand firmly grabbed his shoulder, and when he turned around, his face turned pale, and he was screaming his lungs out. He saw a distorted face that scared the wits out of him. The ghost turned him to the mirror. David saw a large amount of people standing on the other side of the mirror staring at him with angry looks on their faces. David tried exiting the door, but there was still someone on the other side, pushing on the door, so he couldn't escape. David was so scared, he started passing out, and he fell to the floor. Two minutes later, he woke up from his awful nightmare.
