Angry Man
There was a man named Thomas Jacobson, worked at the Sears Tower in Chicago, on floor 58. One day, he was going to go home from work, and was done working for that day. When he saw the elevator open up, he saw a man staring at him with an angry expression on his face. He walked in the elevator, and faced the door. He slowly glanced to the side at the man who was angrily staring at him, and he had his body turned facing him and was staring at him very angrily. Thomas asked, "Is something wrong sir?" The man kept staring at him, and didn't say anything. When Thomas exited the elevator, the man stayed in there staring at him until the elevator doors shut. The next day, he had forgotten about the man, and he was heading to work. When the elevator opened, the same man was in there staring at him really angrily. Thomas started feeling scared, and thought that this was either a very strange coincidence, or this man was stalking him. He entered the elevator, stood still, trying not to look at the man. The elevator stopped on floor 26, and a woman entered the elevator, and said, "Good Morning", Thomas said, "Good Morning". Thomas glanced to his side where the man was, but he was gone. He had completely vanished. Thomas didn't see him exit, because he was looking at the elevators the whole time. Thomas shook his head, and decided to forget about it. After he was done working for that day, he took a deep breath before pushing the elevator button. When the elevator doors opened, there was an old lady staring at him, causing Thomas's heart to beat really fast. He sighed in deep relief, and entered the elevator, as the old lady exited. Thomas was alone in the elevator, and was beginning to become somewhat nervous. Two floors down, someone needed to get on the elevator, and Thomas was hoping that it wouldn't be the man. A young man entered the elevator, and pushed floor 22. When the elevator stopped, Thomas watched the man exit, and he realized he was alone in the elevator again. He unintentionally glanced to the side, and his gasped really hard when he saw the man staring at him really angrily. Thomas was breathing really heavy, and his heart was beating really hard for the rest of the ride down. When the doors opened, he ran out as fast as he could and headed home. The next day Thomas left early for work, so he could ride the elevator with one of his co-workers, because he was too afraid of being alone in the elevator. When he got to the Sears Tower, he sat in the main lobby, waiting for one of his co-workers to enter, so he wouldn't be alone. His friend Jack entered, and Thomas rode the elevator with him all the way up. Thomas decided that he would do this every day, because he knew that he would be too afraid to ride the elevator alone again. Thomas realized that he left work an hour earlier than his other co-workers every day, so he would have to ride the elevator alone after work. Thomas thought really hard about what he could do. He knew a couple people that left work the same time he did on floor 55, so Thomas decided to take the stairs to floor 55. Thomas had never used the stairs before. Thomas started taking the stairs, and thought to himself that this was a good idea. Thomas reached the 56th floor, and only had one more floor to go. When he turned the corner and started taking the last set of stairs, he saw the man from the elevator standing at the bottom of the stairs, staring at him angrily. Thomas felt very fearful, so he turned around and entered the main area of the 56th floor. He asked one of the secretaries if they knew anyone that got off at the same time he did, but nobody did. Thomas was too scared to take the stairs or the elevator, but he knew that he had no other choice. Thomas stood by the elevator for a while, and was surprised to see a woman take the elevator. He followed her in, and decided to go wherever she went. He was even happier when he saw her push *1, the main lobby, where he needed to be anyway. Thomas set an appointment with a therapist to talk about this strange issue. Thomas entered the building where his therapist, and realized he needed to take either the elevator or the stairs to get to his office. He decided to take the elevator, and hoped that nobody would be in there. When the elevator doors opened, nobody was in there, and Thomas was relieved. His therapist suggested that he continue to leave for work early, and then check to see if anyone on the 58th floor got out at the same time he did. When Thomas left his office, he felt good about their discussion, and entered the elevator without thinking about the man. As the elevator doors shut, Thomas felt someone tap on his shoulder. As he turned around, he saw the man angrily staring at him, this time even madder. Suddenly the elevator stopped, and Thomas realized that the elevator was jammed. Thomas sat on the floor and leaned against the elevator wall in deep fear. The angry man kept staring at him, and was starting to breathe really heavily. Thomas said, "What do you want?! Why are you staring at me so angrily?!" The angry man didn't reply and he just looked angrier. Two hours later, after Thomas was rescued from the elevator, he decided that he would see a Christian priest, because there was nothing else that could be done. After the Christian priest gave him a blessing, Thomas never saw the angry man ever again.
