Kyle Preston was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia on August 28th, 1984. "I moved around a lot when I was a kid, and finally settled down in Ohio, weird huh!" Kyle learned to play guitar at age 14 and has been playing everyday since. His influences range from bands like Third Eye Blind, Stroke 9, Our Lady Peace, Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional to recently Ours, Jeff Buckley, Ben Folds and Pete Yorn.
"My songs have changed a lot I think. If you look at where I started and look at where I am now, I really think the songs and the meaning behind them have changed because my style has changed so much and continues to evolve into something else. I just want to capture something that means as much to others as it does to me. "
