Pinscorch is a 5 piece unsigned metal band from Athol, MA. In 1999 Harry Moraga (Vocals,18), and Jerry Breault(Drummer,18) started Pinscorch when they were only 14 years old. After a year they replaced their Guitarist With Matt L'Ecuyer, and their bassist was replaced by Matt O'Brien (Current bassist,19). After playing some shows around the New England Area from 2000 until 2001 they decided to change the path of music they were on. Pinscorch picked up their second guitarist, Andy MacLean(19), in November of 2001, and went back to writing. From November until Summer 2002 they played few shows and were busy writing. With Pinscorch's new guitarist they brought out a style that is becoming less common nowadays. Pinscorch writes more technical riffs, with faster drum beats, and lots of guitar solos. With the focus that they have put on the instrumental part of their music, it can be categorized as Old School/Thrash Metal. Pinscorch has continued the last half of 2002 and beginning of 2003 playing throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, And New Hampshire. Matt L'Ecuyer Left the band At the end of March 2003. Now With The New CD "Eyes Speak Lies" out and their New Guitarist Darak Tracy, Pinscorch hopes to play as many shows as possible and plan to get their music out to as many people as they possibly can reach in 2003.
