The Kiss Cut was formed in September of 2003. They are a metal/ hardcore band straight out of Jackson, N.J. Their music has been compared to some stuff by: Atreyu, Bleeding Through, Hatebreed, Killswitch engage, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold and others. The Band is currently Made Ken Rand (vox), Bill Latshaw (bass), Justin Rand (lead guitar), Dave Torosian (guitar), and Brett Healey (drums/vox)

The Band was started late summer of '03. In the beginning it was just Bill and Dave. Then while they were playing together at Bill's party Brett said he would play drums even though he had no drums to play and he had never touched a drum set in his life. Bill knew he was getting a drum set for his birthday so Brett would use that until he got his own. Then the guitarist from Dave's old band, Justin offered to play guitar with them. Then somewhere in September, Bill, Justin, Brett, and Dave practiced for the first time in bills basement. Then Ken Rand offered to sing for the band.
