Updated the guitar lesson section. I've been thinking about quitting teaching at the store for a while... I don't have many lessons until summer and the ones I DO have are driving me crazy. I still love teaching though, so I've got new stuff for anyone interested.
Got an Amazon.com gift certificate as a belated christmas/birthday present, so I'm trying to pick out some new CDs. There are so many that I want, it's hard to choose. ; )

Speaking of which, has anyone heard Elton John's cover of "Pinball Wizard"? It friggin' rocks. Much better than that (shudder) Limp Biscuit cover of "Behind Blue Eyes". I hate how all these kids think that Fred Durst wrote that now... blarg.

YES! My G3 CD is in, autographed by Joe, Steve, and that crazy Swede. It's friggin' awesome...but they didn't include Juice on it, which Steve played in Pensacola. : ( Oh well, it still rocks. I'll be listening to this one for a while now.

John Petrucci will be releasing his next solo album soon, titled "Suspended Animation". I'm guessing it'll be a prog metal album, but he might surprise me yet.
I watched "Children of the Corn" last night. Pardon the pun, but it was really corny. Normally I don't like "horror" movies, but this one was so stupid I just had to laugh. And I still don't understand what the corn had to do with anything.

Yes! It's true! Steve Vai will be doing tracks for the Halo 2 soundtrack! Is there a way that Halo 2 could get any better?
On top of that, they're releasing the G3'03 CDs on February 24. Mine's pre-ordered, so Steve, Joe, and Yngwie are gonna sign the CD inset. The DVD (Live in Denver) will come out on the 17th, so I'll be ordering that eventually.
Dream Theater still haven't announced any tour dates near here... Rush haven't announced tour dates period... C'mon guys, I'm waiting...

Happy Valentine's Day... I guess.
It's been so rainy here in Southern Alabama. Cold too. But not cold enough for snow or anything. Just cold enough for cold, miserable rain. It did snow once here... actually that was fake snow, so I guess it doesn't count.
