Welcome to Metallica MAYHEM!!!

                  Welcome to Metallica MAYHEM!!!

Metallica has been a band since October 28th 1981 drummer Lars Ulrich made guitar player/singer James Hetfield an offer he couldn't refuse: "I've got a track saved for my band on Brian Slagel's new Metal Blade label."

The truth is, Lars didn't have a band at that time, but he did that day when James joined him. The two recorded their first track on a cheap recorder with James performing singing duties, rhythm guitar duties and bass guitar duties. And since then they have become the 7th biggest selling act in American history. Thanks to all of there great courage and outstanding performance. They have released 11 albums witch 4 have gone to number 1 in the charts. All apart from 2 have been in the top 40and all in the top 120.

James Hetfield was born on August 3, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. James' dad was a truck driver and his mom was a light opera singer. "It was my mom's second marriage- I have two older half -brothers". He was raised in a strict Christian Science family. James likes skateboarding and once when Metallica was on tour with Ozzy Osbourne, he jumped from his skateboard and...He crashed causing him to break his hand.

Lars Ulrich was born in the Danish town of Gentofte, Denmark on the day after Christmas, in 1963. His father was a tennis player and his mother was an elf. Actually, his father might have been an elf and his mother's genes could have been completely suppressed, but anyway, Lars was born a tennis playing elf.
Lars moved to LA with his parents in 1980 so he could get better at tennis and be discouraged by the large number of good tennis players and be lured away from it by sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
Kirk Lee Hammett was born on the eighteenth day of the eleventh month of the year nineteen hundred sixty-two in San Francisco. Like a true child of that city, he's abused alcohol and drugs, is covered with tattoos and piercing, and has really kinky sex, though he admits to not being gay.
As a drunken April Fools day prank in 1983, Metallica kicked out Dave Mustaine and asked Kirk to try out. He hasn't officially been made a member, and they have been stringing him along since then. Not that it matters, since he doesn't actually do anything, though there is a rum our he might make a guest appearance on the next album
Robert Trujillo
Robert Trujillo was born on November 23, 1964 in Santa Monica, California. He is Single and plays the Bass, Background Vocals
he has Brown eyes, dark hair, 5'9"/1.75 meters tall
He's got rhythm and he's most certainly got music. Now Robert Trujillo's also got the job of being Metallica's new bassist and family member...one that will doubtless fit this most righteous and cheerful of Southern Californians like a glove. Although he sometimes does use a pick, Trujillo is best known as a baaaad motherplucker, a finger-playing' bass monster who's dexterity, tones and attitude have seen him grace the bass of Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves and Ozzy Osbourne's band since his first professional work with Suicidal in 1989. It all stems back to a childhood filled with variety and spice.

Growing up in Venice Beach "Dog Town", Trujillo heard everything, from Led Zeppelin to Motown with a chunk of funk in between. Joined with a young love of surfing, Trujillo developed a rhythm and a vibe that saw him play with a variety of local bands through his early 20s until he met Mike Muir of Suicidal Tendencies via his High School buddy, Suicidal guitarist Rocky George. The two got on infamously well, and thus began a rich and fruitful relationship which saw Rob establish himself as one of the most exciting bass talents in the rock world.
