Tom Grant In law enforcement since 1969 and a Private Investigator since the 70's with many cases under his belt. Hired by Courtney on to originally track Kurt's credit card. Came to the conclusion that Kurt was murdered after 8 months of research, talking to people, and witnessing Courtney's strange behaviour. Had a job as the male nanny for Cobain's daughter, travelled with them, and lived in their Seattle home. The mysterious death of a icon” Hank Harrison Courtney Love's father. Seems to believe in the murder theories, but has his own ideas on what happened. Grant and others tend to distance themselves from him, as he's a little "out there" and apparently makes the seriousness of this investigation look bad. Nick Broomfield British director that made the movie. Broomfield's film was financed by the cable network Showtime (owned by Viacom, which also owns MTV). The film posits that Courtney Love was able to use her hefty musical clout to force Showtime to withdraw funding, which is documented during the course of the film. In the end, Broomfield was able to finish the film with assistance from the BBC and private investors. Nirvana Kurt’s “grunge” band. Released 6 albums. Kristen Pfaff Bass player for Courtney's band Hole. Died two months after Kurt on June 16th 1994. Had a U-Haul packed to leave Hole, Courtney and Seattle the next morning. Similarities between the way she and Kurt died, as well as how the Seattle police (mis)handled both cases, have raised questions. Please read for more info.
