I know that this is not exactly like the song the Goo Goo Dolls play but I will never be able to mimic them perfectly - this is my own interpretation.  They actually play this song with different tuning but this is how you can play it with a standard guitar.  If you think you can play it better then do it.  If you figure something out then constructive criticism would be appreciated.
