<br>by Kevin Kerby

Go Fast is a three-piece rock and roll outfit that was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in the fall of 1998 by long time friends Scott Diffee and Matt Floyd. Originally a quartet, the band made its spit and beer soaked debut, Great American Get Down, shortly after forming.

Get Down is a sharply focused snap shot of what Go Fast was all about at the time. Classic rock arrangements were melded with country licks to create a sound that was all their own while helping to define "the Little Rock sound".

Go Fast is everything that's good about American music. They embrace the ethics (or lack there of) of days gone by. Weed, beer, cigarettes, women... it's all fair game. Instead of trying to redefine rock. Go Fast is the definition of rock. Pounding drums, thumping bass and over-the-top solos and singing from a born-to-be-a-star front man, have put Go Fast at the top of the Little Rock music scene.
