“K” Jason said and started playing
Amber walked away to the Food section
“Hey there, what are you playing?” someone walked over to Jason
“Mortal Combat” Jason replied
“Oh cool! I love that game! Can I play too?”
“Sure but you are not gonna beat me. I’m the master of these games” Jason said proudly
“I’m sure I won’t” the person smiled and they started playing
Half an hour later Amber walked back to Jason “Ok J all done, lets go”
“Just 5 more minutes please… I’m winning” Jason begged. Amber looked at the person Jason was playing with and the person looked back “Oh hi! I’m Nick” he said introducing himself “and you’re brother here is kicking my butt…”
Amber laughed “yeah well he is the master”
“I can see that now” Nick smiled
“Hey, Nick, keep your eyes on the game” Jason told him
“Oh sorry” Nick turned back to face the screen
“Sorry J, but we really gotta go, Grandma is waiting for us” Amber told him
“Oh man…” Jason said bumbed
“C’mon let’s go, It was nice meeting you Nick” Amber said taking Jason’s hand and walking towards the car
“You too, you never told me your name though” Nick said
“It's Amber, my name is Amber” Amber yelled so that Nick would hear her
“Nice meeting you Amber, you too Jason” Nick yelled back
“Bye” Amber and Jason yelled to Nick, got into the car and drove away
“Hey grandma” Jason jumped on his grandma when she opened the door for them
“Hi sweetie, missed your grandma I see” she hugged him
“Yep” Jason said and got down
“Hi mom” Amber said and gave her a kiss
“Hi honey”
“I bought what you wanted” Amber showed her the bags she carried
“Thanks dear” her mom, Rose, took the bags away from her and they walked to the kitchen
“Did you buy some chocolate for me?” Jason looked at Amber
“Yep. Here you go” Amber pulled the chocolate out of her pocket
“Thanks mom” Jason took the chocolate and run to the living room to watch some TV
“Welcome sweetie” Amber said and then looked at her mom “Listen, mom, can you watch J tomorrow? I gotta study and then go to work and the babysitter cancelled”
“Sure hon”
“Thanks mom you’re a life savior”
“No problem” she smiled
They walked to the living room with a bag of chips to watch TV with Jason
3 hours later Amber and Jason had to go home
“No, mom please, I wanna stay some more…” Jason begged
“We cant J you have to go to sleep and I can use some sleep too” Amber said standing up
“Well J can stay here Amber, you wanted me to watch him tomorrow so it will also save you the time to bring him here again” Rose said
“Are you sure mom?” Amber asked
“Yes. Now go get some rest”
“Thanks mom” Amber kissed her on the cheek and then hugged Jason “Love you babe”
“Love you mom” Jason said back
Amber walked to get her purse and then to the door, she turned around “Aww… bye sweetie”
“Oh c’mon mom it’s just for one night, don’t get emotional” Jason said
“I am not” Amber said back
“Oh yes you are now leave!” Rose said
“Ok, ok I’m going. Bye” Amber walked out the door and drove home.
