Emevas are a new and upcoming band from Perth, Western Australia. Emevas consists of Mathew Roberts on vocals/bass/guitar, Paul McFarlane on Drums and Shaun Fraser on guitar. Each band member has their own versatile tastes in the rock and metal music genres, being able to find common ground on the likes of Nirvana, Radiohead and System Of A Down, which contributes to the sudden and consistent changes in song styles the band writes. The aim of this band is to deliver good music that can have as much or little intelligence as it needs, just as long as it rocks and stays out of the stereotypical, commercially whored and relatively shit genres that we see in the music industry today. Whether it be a love song, a hate song, a death song or a song about nothing, Emevas are about playing songs we like to play, without care or worry about trying to play as heavy as possible, make a big impression or appealing to what is "cool" in today's music scene.
