IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE SOUND QUALITY OF THE RECORDS POSTED, I'VE NOW ADDED FILES IN "MP3" FORMAT LINKED TO THE LABEL SCANS.  YOU CAN STILL HEAR THE MUSIC "STREAMING" ON REAL AUDIO.

I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET ALL THE MP3 FILES TO PLAY ONE AFTER THE OTHER AS A "PLAY ALL SONGS" FEATURE.  A LITTLE HELP IS APPRECIATED.

To my DUSTY DISC Page.  I'm a record collector who loves the sound of the original oldies.  I've been collecting since I was just a little DooWopper in Junior High.  My collection is a modest 6,000 45s.  Since I grew up in Pittsburgh, I have been influenced by the PGH sound. However, being retired military, I've had the opportunity to enjoy the sounds of many other regions of the country.  I now live in the Jersey shore area and I still attend many DooWop concerts in the Jersey, New York & Philly areas.

3.  GET AN ORIGINAL, IF AVAILABLE, IN GOOD SHAPE, AND ISN'T TOO EXPENSIVE
4.  KEEP THE ORIGINAL STORED, PLAY THE REISSUE!

(I'm not a purist who will imply that your listening only to originals when in fact he is using a reissue or CD.  Under my rules, see 1 & 2, that's OK.  At least I'll show you.)

WHAT IS A REISSUE?:

Any record not on it's original label or not listed by it's original catalog number.  I'm not concerned with differences between pressings.  (If its on the original label and has the original number, then its not a reissue.)
