Distortion 106 FM is Portarlington’s newest radio station . It could be described as an alternative rock station but, at the same time the people at Distortion are open to almost all opinions and tastes . So if a D.J. likes a song that is not neccecarily alternative it is fine to play it on that D.J.'s air time.

The people at Distortion feel that radio is simply not accessible to the youth
of Portarlington and surrounding areas . We would like to make it available for young
People who would like to pursue a career in Radio or media to get
