Concert Memories

October 1969, Men's Gym, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

I don't have the day of the month but I saw Poco perform at the Men's Gym, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA in October of '69. They were the headliners with a local band as warm up act. They played all of their first album, PICKIN' UP THE PIECES, and the crowd was so receptive that they told us they were going to play the songs from the new album they had just finished recording. To my recollection, they performed that album complete as well. They played for two hours straight, quite a long time back in those days.
