Internship Experience
|
Summer training in Hindustan Zinc Limited (under Sterlite group of industries) for 2 months, where I did project
on “Thermal Balancing of Roaster and Acid Plant” which was intended to find out inefficiencies in Heat Transfer
processes and looking out for remedial solutions.
Project under: Mr. S.K.Dahire, Manager, Roaster and Acid plant
|
Projects Undertaken |
|
·Remedial
solutions to Industrial problems due to casting, through Process Modeling.
(Under the guidance of
Prof. T.S. Prasanna Kumar, Department of
metallurgical and materials engineering, IIT Madras).
This project was intended to find out the
instabilities in the system due to defects like Porosity etc through
Computer simulation using softwares like Ideas, Fluent and Gambit. |
|
Design
of Eco-friendly Seminar hall.
The objective of the project was to design
the seminar hall to minimize the use
of energy Intensive materials; to analyze the
materials which are eco-friendly .It involved designing in such a way
that energy consumption is lowered. |
|
Term
paper on Aircraft corrosion under different
atmospheric conditions and with usage of different materials. It involved
classifying different types of corrosion and to take corresponding
remedial steps for their prevention. |
|
Term paper on coke ovens.
The objective of the term paper was about working of
coke ovens, its by-product plant,
health hazards and the new upcoming technologies for coke production. |
|
Term paper on Cyber crimes
and how to effectively prevent them. In the new age of
e-commerce, how the cyber crimes
takes place and how does companies ensure their security. |
