Life was never going to be easy, not for anyone. But, in particular life was not going to be easy for Ahriman Lucifer. He was born into hate, deception and depression. Any happiness that he experienced would always become short-lived. They would all get taken away from him. But, not as one would expect, he was truly cursed. If he allowed himself to love someone they would instantly get taken away from him, they would suffer the ultimate price from his love, which was death.

This curse was proved three times in his life, and he didn’t want it to happen again, so he would do the only thing that he could, which was to isolate himself from the world and make a promise to himself that he would never love again. Nevertheless, not loving someone isn’t what you could do, because throughout life you would soon begin to love again, the only thing you can possibly do to save them and yourself, is to push them away. This was a hard thing to do, but it had to be done, for the sake of their life and whatever was left of his sanity.

How it all began…

An only child named Ahriman Lucifer was born. Life seemed like it would seem for any young child, it would be filled with happiness. However, this was not to be, though. Ahriman Lucifer learnt first hand just how cruel the world can be. Both of his parents brutally murdered before his very eyes. What a sight to behold as a child, this crushed everything that he could ever become. This was the first fall into a never-ending hole.

He had no control over it, he could not stop this from happening, all he could do was scream and cry. From that moment on, he was by himself. He learned to live in complete isolation from the entire world. He had built up so much anger and so much hate. How could anyone cope with the death of their parents, let alone a young child? The only two people you knew that will always be there for you, just taken away from you before your very eyes.

Soon he started wrestling and had joined XWA; he saw this as a way to nurture his frustration, as he would ruthlessly take it out upon innocent people without a care in the world.

When he started wrestling a whole new era of problems arrived at his doorstep. Yet, he dealt with them as best he could. Often looking back on his life he realized that he had made many mistakes, but how can anyone change those mistakes? They’re in the past, he had to move on, but a person will never forget. He would never forget. It would always playback in his mind like a never-ending story.

XWA was when he learnt his first lessons in life. Lesson’s that would haunt him for the rest of his life, his first mistake, but it would not be his last. For he had many more traps awaiting him around each corner, traps he could not sidestep. He would have to get caught in them traps, it’s the way fate wanted it.

The change…

Very early on in XWA he had beat Jake Devins to win the International title, which is when the feud first began. A month later he had joined a stable, but not just any stable, this stable was known as NEO. With this, Ahriman thought of a change in his ways. He produced his alter-ego, Seraph.

Seraph was the calm type, when compared to the rageful Ahriman. The change had taken place; he had changed his name, and his ways. This seemed like the perfect way for him to forget his past, this seemed like the new start that he had always wished for, but it wasn’t to be. Things have a funny way of going wrong.

The act of deception…

After all the years of believing that you were the only child, then to have someone just turn up and prove to you that they’re your brother, it was hard to understand. Thus, Slain Lucifer was Seraph’s brother. They stuck together through thick and thin, just as brothers should.

After making a grave for Slain’s father, they called him to the graveyard in which Seraph had lived his whole life. They both brutally murdered the father of Slain and threw him into a grave. This was when Seraph began to fully trust Slain for he showed no consideration for anyone but, his brother, Seraph. They became best of friends fairly quickly. Slain was the happier type out of them two, yet he did have the cold heart. Seraph slowly began to turn back into Ahriman Lucifer, but he had controlled himself through this point and his alter-ego reigned supreme and kept in complete control.

However, Slain’s greed for gold made the two grow apart slightly. Slain wanted the rising star championship, at the time that belt was gracefully held by Shannon Lorette. During this time Seraph and Shannon had made a friendship, and he didn’t want her to get hurt. Seraph thought that maybe Slain would understand this, but it wasn’t to be, Slain never understood this at all, his greed got the better of him.

Seraph had told Slain on numerous occasions just to forget about that title and go after another, at one point Seraph offered his title to Slain. But the match was booked and it went ahead.

International Championship
Jake Devins V Seraph

Rising Star Championship
Slain V Shannon Lorette

Due to the mind set that Seraph was in, he could not concentrate on his match, and this led to Jake Devins taking the victory and the title. Seraph’s reign as International champion finally ended. Yet, he did not seem to care at all.

Slain V Shannon was up next, as the match got under-way, Seraph ran down in what looked to be in aid of his brother, yet he turned on his brother and hit him with oblivion. People from all over interfered in that match, which resulted in Shannon losing the title to Slain, but as the chaos continued XWW’s Adam Cameron came to the rescue, and cleared the ring in aid of Shannon. Shortly after that, XWA closed.

Seraph and Slain had put the past behind them and moved on, they both joined ACW. Seraph never showed any interest in this federation, yet Slain did. He wanted more gold, his greed came back. This time, Seraph never cared, he just turned up for his matches, un-prepared and he lost them all. He hadn’t won a match since XWA; then again, he was at his best in XWA.

No more! Seraph would not allow himself to get man-handled in the ring by anyone, so he began to train as hard as he could, just to get himself back into shape. Soon he was back to full fitness, but something had gone wrong, he continued to lose matches, he couldn’t stop this from happening, he had lost it.

Nevertheless, he continued to train and one night, he lay sleeping after a hard work-out. He was awoken by the screams of a young girl, as he quickly stumbled to his feet. He searched around for half an hour, before he actually found the girl that was crying. She lay on the floor, crying. Seraph picked her up and decided he would look after her, at least until he had found out where she had came from. All he knew of her was that her name was Amy.

The next morning, she had told him that she was a homeless girl and that she had been badly beaten by the people who supposedly own her. The reason they beat her was because she did not want to beg, meaning she would never come back with any money. They used to try and beat some sense into her, yet it never worked.

He became greatly angered at this, so he was going to deal with it just as he saw fit. Later on, both, Amy and Seraph went to where the people where that used to beat her. Upon arrival he got thanked for bringing her back, yet he didn’t bring her back to them, he only took her with him to that place to find out exactly who the people were.

Arguments arose but, they soon ended as a fight broke out, this led to Seraph beating up 3 people, and he left them bloody and battered on the floor, as he shouted a few harsh words toward them, before taking off with Amy. He vowed he would look after her. He too had experienced a hard life and knew exactly what it was like. He didn’t want her to go through the same pain he had been through, so he promised to give her a life that he never had.

He had placed her in a school, where she could learn and become something great in the future. Things have a funny way of going wrong, though. Seraph met Aaron and at the time Aaron told Seraph he was a friend of his family. Along with the other bullshit he fed Seraph, he believed it all. The three of them moved back into the house on top of the hill. At this point, Seraph drifted away from ACW and Aaron had signed him up for New Era Wrestling. In which Aaron assumed Seraph would get brutally beaten each week.

Aaron told Seraph that Slain was not his brother but, in fact one of his allies. Working together Slain and Aaron both screwed Seraph over, one lie after another, he was led astray. Aaron had told Seraph the complete truth in a note that he left before he took off, laughing at Seraph. He told him that he was the one who killed his parents and that Seraph could not do anything about it. Taking whatever had an ounce’s worth in the house, Aaron fled from it.

The first acknowledgment…

Seraph then became angered and all the hate he had came rushing back, he felt himself falling into a hole, he could not stop himself. Ahriman began to regain control, but Seraph continued in fighting him off with what strength he had, for he knew that if Ahriman took control all hell would break loose.

The signification of Ahriman coming back was when Seraph’s eyes turned bright red, the colour of hell. He felt with this going on that he could not look after Amy properly, so he gave her up for adoption, and gave her a proper family.

On his travels he met up with three people, Gunn, Adam and Leanne. Seraph regained control and vowed that he would avenge his parent’s death. Seraph and Leanne became close, as he got word that Aaron was going off to kill Amy, Seraph charged toward the foster home as his eyes turned red, Ahriman took control once more, as he fled up the stairs into Amy’s room, to see Aaron standing before her. He attacked him straight away, ruthlessly smashing his head off the walls and then ending his life by slamming his head through a television set.

Later on he found out a few things and one of them being that he had not killed Aaron, but someone posing to be him. Seraph then regained control, to further more find out that Adam and Gunn were Aaron’s allies. Seraph’s eyes turned red and he tore Adam apart, murdering him on the spot. Then speeding after Gunn and brutally killing him. A note that Adam had given him before Seraph had killed him had stated that they killed Leanne and Amy. This was his main cause of anger at the time.

Growing irate, he turned back into Ahriman and through this phase he was at his most successful peak wrestling-wise. Becoming the Iron Fist champion and the Canadian Champion, being the first ever New Era Wrestling double champion. He had joined a stable within this company not long after losing his titles and the stable consisted of the Owner of New Era Wrestling, Reno Frost and the world champion at the time, Chris Extreme. The three ran riot through the roster of NEW. Soon NEW would close down and he would go to XWW, where he fought once before that federation came to a blunt close.

The pain continues…

He soon began to get headaches, or what he thought were headaches, but he later realized that it was Ahriman trying to take control. It had got worse than it ever had, but for a few months it had stopped, he was calm, his heart was at ease. Seraph retained control. But that wouldn’t last for long, as his curse began to kick in.

While taking time out from wrestling, he had met a girl. Instantly falling in love with her as they spent an amazing few months together, at this point however, Seraph had forgotten about Aaron and his past. He had left her side for one fucking second and he came back to see her body lying across the bed. His eyes turned red at this sight, as he buried her next to his mother. Aaron had taken away his loved ones. Ahriman had taken control.

He had gone for just a few minutes and Aaron had picked off his target gracefully, leaving Seraph in the depressive slump he had been born into. At that point, he knew that love was dead. He was wasting to nothing. Seraph forced himself back into control at this stage.

He joined New Era Wrestling once more, as it opened up. He was weak and he was confused, this was no way for a person to fight, but he had to fight, it was the only thing he knew how to do. Everything had been taken away from, but he would put a stop to it, if only he wasn’t so weak, if only these headaches would go away.

Time progressed and his headaches grew much worse, he began to suffer painfully alone. He however felt comforted one night, when he looked back at the rare photos of his childhood. That one night, he slept in his own bed for the first time since he was a child.

Aaron would not get away with what he had done to his family and his loved ones. Seraph did not care anymore, if he was in control or if Ahriman was in control. He was too weak to fight them off; he was too weak to do anything. He just allowed them to fight each other until it stopped. The headaches got worse and Seraph found himself collapsing after each one, this was it, this was his test. The two egos would go at it, the winner unknown.

Promises broken, hope destroyed, love had died. This was Ahriman’s chance to regain control and finally keep it without having Seraph fight him off. The struggle within would rage on, the winner not yet known. It was mind v body, Ahriman Lucifer V Seraph, Good V Evil. There could be only one.

Present date.

My hope had been destroyed. It had been crushed like a little fly. When a person’s hope is crushed, the person is nothing. This was how much hope had meant to me, but now I didn’t know what to think or even what to do. Memories of my first love kept flashing back; I kept smiling every time I’d remember her, then that smile would soon turn to dust as I would remember what he had done to her.

It was another summer night, the humid air brushed throughout the state. The moon gazed down peacefully upon the habitants of the earth. A few stars lay across the skyline. I remembered once what she had told me…

“When a person dies, if you look up into a complete dark sky, and call their name three times, a star will appear, and if that star disappears after a few seconds it would mean that the person who died is angry at you. However, if the star remains in the sky, you can speak to it, and to signify whether the person was listening or not, the star would blink. Thus meaning that the person was listening”

I had tried that every night. Not once did it work, not once. I sat up late, in the darkest place at the darkest time of the night, screaming out her name, yet nothing would appear. Maybe it was because I never believed in it enough, but I never quite knew, for I had no mind of my own anymore. It was built up full of confusion. If you ask me, I would say that my mind is broken.

Here I sat again, in the darkest place I knew, which was an ally. I sat at the bottom of it, looking up into the sky, shouting her name from the top of my lungs and nothing would appear nothing at all. I was sitting on the cold hard concrete floor, with my back leaning against the brick wall. I dropped my head downwards, as I looked at the ground. I reached to a side slightly, with my right hand, taking a firm grasp of a stone, as I placed my other hand on the floor, I slowly rolled up my sleeve, slamming the stone into it, and then keeping the stone pressed deep against my flesh, as I began to scrape backwards, cutting myself open.

My cold red blood poured from out of the wound as he it trickled down my pale skin, onto my hand. I kept the stone in placed, applying pressure onto it. I wanted to see if I still felt pain, physical pain. I knew that I felt emotional pain, but physical pain was something else. I never felt anything except my cold blood. I thought that blood was meant to be warm? I guess in my case its not.

I slowly began to stand up, as I threw the stone into the wall before me. As I walked out of the ally-way, the street light shined down upon me. Clearly showing my black on black dress sense, I guess some things never change, eh?

I lowered my head as I walked down the silent street, no people around, nothing. It was too dark for me to make out what was around except for the pavement, as I continued on my quest back to my home, which was the graveyard at this point. With each step, I felt a memory rush through my body, as I got a few cold chills. It was a weird feeling, yet I could not do anything about it. I felt myself becoming weak once again, as I stumbled down the street, with my head facing the floor.

I extended my left arm, as I placed it against the wall, using it to keep me upright, I barely pushed myself along the street. I slowly began to grow weaker as I placed my right arm onto the wall; also, as I began to push myself even more so down the street, until finally, I reached home. I looked through the black metal bars, as I saw a broken life, my broken life.

The perfect house resting peacefully upon the hill, the moon had strayed away from it, as it would not embrace the beauty of it. It stood in darkness; it had seemed as if the house itself had turned black. I looked in front of me as I saw the three graves, two occupied, and one awaiting me. Death was around the corner, I could smell it in the air. I was dying and I could not stop it.

I slowly stumbled around the metal bars, as I headed into the graveyard, my shoes slammed off the cold mud as I treaded across it, toward my destination. Memories were all that lay in front of me, my memories, my life, my all.

Maybe it was my time to give up, and give in. Maybe it was my time to let go and take my rightful place in the clouds above, or the hell fires below. However it may be. I think that god could not make things worse for me at this moment. My faith in god had gone away a long time ago.

One thing that I had finally figured out was the battle within me. I had put a finger on who controlled what, and Ahriman Lucifer controlled my mind and Seraph controlled my body. Many times before I had tried to make them co-exist but, I would always fail. I guess the battle between the two had been on for a long time, I just never knew it until now.

Yet, I never had control over either of them, they would do what they want with my hopeless body and maybe this was how I was meant to go. The two parts of me fighting against each other until the death, but if one of them died, it would mean that I would also die.

All my mind was telling me, was…
… Give in
Give in.
Give in.
Give in.
Give in.

No! I would not give in, I could not give in. I had to stay for one reason and that reason was revenge. Once I had got my revenge I would be free, I could then take my place in that grave, if I saw fit. It was hard ignoring what your mind was telling you to do, but it was something I could do without. I didn’t need my mind trying to kill me.

I stumbled over toward the tree that stood to a side of the graves, as I fell onto the floor, my back leaning into the tree, and my arms and legs just flopped down beside me. My head fell forward, as I lost control of it. I was at my weakest point.

A smile came across my face as I thought back over my life, I thought back about the good times, trying to cancel out the bad times, but that was a hard thing to do, considering every good time that I had, was excelled by a bad time. Things would never go right for me, I was lost.

I slowly opened my eyes after a few minutes of thinking, as I saw too black shoes in front of me, I slowly began to force my head upwards, as the person was wearing a pair of blue pants, and a white cream top. I continued looked upwards, as I reached his face… It was Aaron.

My whole body went crazy, as I leapt to my feet in anger, my eyes turning red, as I stood up quickly, I clenched both my fists as I looked straight into his eyes, but my frustration was short lived, as I stumbled back into the tree. Another headache had occurred. Ahriman Lucifer had gotten out and Seraph was trying to regain control. This was not the right fucking time for them to be deciding who has control. I pushed the palms of my hands against the temple of my head.

“Aww, what’s the matter little boy? Have another headache?”

I had no energy to reply, so I didn’t, I kept pushing my palms inwards, trying to stop the pain.

“Here, let me give you some aspirin.”

As he swung his fist toward my head, it drilled into my head powerfully, as I stumbled off to a side, not falling yet. He laughed before swinging his boot toward my gut, upon connection; I fell forward, landing on all fours. I could not control myself, I could not defend myself. I was at my weakest point and he knew this, he knew it was the perfect time to attack. My eyes had turned back to blue, the red had gone, but they struggle within continued.

He swung out his right boot once more, as he buried it deep into my gut, I rolled over a few times upon impact, as I came back onto all fours. I soon began to cough up blood, not feeling the pain of this, but becoming weaker because of it. He then looked over his shoulder as he walked toward my mother’s grave.

“She was a cutie. Shame, really. She was always a slut.”

He swung his boot outwards once more, as he slammed it into the gravestone. It was evident that he was wearing steal top capped shoes, as he bust the stone into two. No wonder I was bleeding internally. I felt so angry, I wanted to stop him, but I couldn’t. I reached out toward him, but I couldn’t do anything else.

“Take that, bitch.”

“Oohhh, looky here, we’ve got your girlfriend’s grave…”

He stood upon it as he looked toward me, he was toying with me and I could not do anything about it. I lay, with my arm extended, not being able to do anything about it. The internal bleeding had begun to take its toll on me, as I fell onto my back, looking upwards at the sky. My eyes slowly began to close as the only thing I could hear was his laughing and mocking.

He stood over my grave, as he sat upon it. Yawning from my lack of strength, victory was his…

“This is where I’ll bury you, thank you for the helping hand you stupid fuck.”

He smirked slightly, before continuing on with his mocking…

“Actually, how ‘bout I bury you with your girlfriend? I mean, in an awkward sex position? Haha that would be so funny for people to look at, would it not? I mean they can them remember what a stupid idiot you were really were.”

My eyes slowly opened, as they turned to red, I got to my feet. Ahriman was in control, but for how long? I didn’t wait around to find out as I ran toward Aaron full speed like a raging bull; I swung out my right fist, slamming it into his jaw, as I took Aaron to the ground with a solid punch. I felt my knuckles dig deep into his cheek-bone as I smirked.

Reaching down quickly, taking his head as I grabbed his hair with force, I lifted his head up, but at this time, he had pulled out a knife from his boot, and he swung it toward my gut. I side-stepped quickly, but he had caught my hip, as the blade pierced my skin, I felt no pain. As I stumbled back a little, releasing his hair from the strength of the blow.

“That all you got old man. I will show you just who you’ve been messing with.”

I charged back toward him with a sadistic look in my eyes, reaching outwards quickly, taking the back of his hair as I swung his head downwards, toward the top of my gravestone, his head bounced back off the stone, as I swung it down once more, drilling his forehead off it cleanly, he began to bleed, as I began to smirk at his pain.

“Bleed you bastard, bleed. I want you to bleed. This is going to the last time you ever feel again. This is your dying night, bitch.”

As I reached toward my hip, pulling the dagger from out of it, I shoved him toward the tree, swinging the dagger at his shoulder as I shot it straight through his shoulder, digging his shoulder into the tree, making sure he can not move. As I watched the blood trickle down from his wounds, I laughed, extending a finger outwards, as I dug it deep into one of his wounds, allowing my finger to embrace his blood, as I licked the blood off of my finger… I smirked at the taste of it. I reached outwards now, taking him by the scruff of his collar, sizing up his face for the last punch, the punch that would end it all. I could see what I had done to him, Ahriman was a sick and vile creature that is what I liked about him, and it is also why I feared him. He had no care for anyone and he would get kicks out of seeing people go through pain and seeing them bleed.

At that point, I suffered another headache or so it seemed to be as I tilted my head downwards slightly. I had slowly begun to realize that I was not Seraph, and I was not Ahriman. For how can I be two people? I’m only one person. I was both Ahriman Lucifer and Seraph, its something that I had never been able to realize until now. The deadly venom of Ahriman Lucifer and the ruthless ways of Seraph, formed together as one person.

I slowly opened my eyes as the headache had stopped and my mind and body were finally at peace, I slowly tilted my head upwards, as a sick and evil smirk embraced my pale skin, my eyes still burning red, as all the pain and emotion ran through my body. Everything that he had done to me, everything that he had done to my family, the way that he had crushed my life into pieces.

“YOU WERE WRONG TO TAKE IT FROM ME. YOU WERE WRONG TO TAKE MY LIFE FROM ME! YOU WILL PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE!”

I screamed toward him, after all these years, my true emotions ran wild as I pulled my clenched fist back, I drove it forward with incredible speed and power as it crashed into his nose, breaking it upon impact, the blood squirted all over the place, as that punch landed, all my pain had landed with it. The years of suffering and the way that he would always take away what was mine, the way he had crushed me, this was the time I had finally got my revenge; I had finally got my mind and body to become one.

I reached to a side, grabbing the dagger that lay in his arm, as I pulled it out, I slowly reached outwards, grabbing his head, as I pulled him up off the ground, I laughed insanely as I swung the knife forward, I drove it straight through his heart, and straight into the tree, as I felt his lifeless body in my hands, I continued to laugh as I finally let go of it. The dead body stayed in position. The pain I saw in his eyes was what I always wanted, and then his lifeless body unable to do anything, I continued laughing insanely.

After a life-time of wanting revenge I had finally taken it and It felt so good. I loved the feeling of killing; I loved the feeling of finally seeing his lifeless body stuck to the tree. I felt a great pleasure after breaking his heart into pieces, just as he did to mine. Payback was a bitch.

Before I walked off, I looked over my shoulder, as my eyes burned red…

“Jeff Evans… Matt Miller… You’re next.”
