Myself, Aeren, Simon, Kyle and Lee all went down to Wollington park in Nottingham to see Greenday play, little did we know that this would actaully turn out to be a full scale one day punk(ish) fesitival! As far as introductions to festivals go it was a good one, unpredictable weather and unpredictable quality. Both were really good for the most part. Highlight was obviously Greenday who set the standard that most bands shall fail to follow, Iggy pop and the wildhearts also put in good performances. The wildhearts recored their video to Vanilla radio here and if you look carfully you can make out Simon crowdsurfing in it.Only one letdown, that being greenday not closing with 'good riddance', would have been the perfect end but was not to be.

Myself,Kirk,Mark,Terrie,Simon and Amanda go to this shithole for the first time and have a kinda good time. We had planned on going down in 2002 but made the stupid mistake of waiting till everybody had money to buy tickets, needless to say it sold out. This year we had a little more sense.Best on the stages were Metallica,Turbonegro,Evan dando and the Darkness. Best off the stages were stalkers, exploding tents, raining of ash and, of course, excessive levels of booze. The most extreem thing seen was on the final day when the metal road going through our field was rolled up, filled with gas cannsiter and tents and exploded, aptly named 'the fire cannon' by Kirk.We all left this one saying we were gonna be talking about it for months, then pissed a lot of people off by doing just that.

Myself and Lee walked 2 and a half miles then stood for 3 hoursish in a queue to have the honour of this festival. It was here that i learnt a valuable lesson, that being that skating is really fucking boring to watch, impressive...but boring never the less. The skate bowl did provide a place for me to sit while eating though.Best of the first day was the stooges who were simply fucking awesome and Pennywise who benefitted from a crowd missing all those who were seeing Linkin park. 2nd day was even better, saw loads of new to me bands on the barfly stage, best being Danko Jones, the glitterati and Do me bad things, Metallica closed the festival spectacularly, Lars is in hospital so they played with drummers from other bands, the sight of the slipknot drummer playing with Metallica is one thats gonna be difficualt to forget.

Myself, Kirk, Terrie, Gwain and the scotish contingent of Phil and Laura go visit Ben in Germany for a week.During the course of this week we went swimming a fucking lot, went to a young childrens theme park and rode the water slide 6 times, went swimming in a lake at midnight during a thunder storm, built a lot of high quality camp fires, legally drank and discovered a drink called 'desperadoes'- really 'kin cool. The week ended with a party that loads of Bens German friends came to, we felt kinda uncomfotable cause we didn't know what people were saying, so we decided to drink, alot, then we though we could speak german...giving the english a good name! The plane home was suffering from 'technical difficulties' so we ended up in Hannover airport for 7 and a half hours, took us 16hours to get home.

Myself,Kirk,Mark,Terrie,Simon,Kyle,Amanda,Chris,Claire,Bennet and Giles brave trenchfoot and experince the best festival so far...Best on stage were Greenday, the new york dolls,Danko Jones and Morrissey. Best off stage was the first night where we sang songs to random campsites under the guidance of bongo dave and naked dave, members of the dave campsite who were 2 campsites over from us, we went wandering with these fellas most nights. The final night me and Kirk drank a heroic ammount of Strongbow and went on a 5 hour walk around the entire campsites, its bigger than u'd imagine.Showers are not a myth!On this journey we blessed a whole lot of people with a dodgey skull staff kirk had brought. Roll on next year...

Well a whole shit load of us went to this one, i can't be bothered naming them all! For weeks beforehand all the killjoys had been saying it was gonna rain...and it did! But just on the Wednesday...bright sunshine afterwards! Highlights onstage were Iron Maiden, Anti-flag, The Pixies and Do Me Bad Things. Highlights offstage were the war with the SS, Kirk being run over by a road while in drag, drag in general and the catapalt! We also did the impossible and managed to orginise a successfull meetup with the fatreg forum people! Needless to say a years supply of alcohol was drunk, and most of it the SS didn't even try and steal
