Oh dear Sprite, you shouldn't have done that, lol. Giving me an opportunity to talk about myself?? BAD idea. Anyway, who am I? Well, the name is Edward, but unless you want unimagninable violence inflicted upon you, I go by Ed or Eddie. I turned 20 in April, instantly making my parents feel old because they no longer have any teenagers, hehe. I'm 5'11", and 180 odd lb. And oh, yeah, I live in Wellington, New Zealand. For the geographically challenged, its just to the right of Australia, hehe.

Hmmm... what else? I'm at college. Half way thru my third year of a double degree: English lit and law. And for the American majority, Law is an undergraduate qualification here. Law is boring as hell most of the time, with the occasional interesting bit. English is really cool, I get to read good books, write what I think about them, and get good grades. Sweet deal, huh?

What do I do for fun? I read a lot. Mostly sci fi and fantasy, which I guess would make me kinda geeky. But hey, like I give a shit. Then again, I also play hockey at a pretty high level, which would make me kinda jocky, lol. Go figure. Also did debating since Freshman year in highschool, but had to give it up this year cos I actually got a job, and I'm too busy. The job, incidentally, is as a waiter at a turkish restaurant. Pay is lousy, but hours are flexible. And oh, yeah, I mess around on my piece of shit computer quite a lot.. chatting, surfing, wasting my time playing games.

I'm still living at home with the rents, basically because they aren't so bad and I can't afford to move out yet. No expenses = good!. Since I'm still at home, its pretty lucky that my parents are totally cool with me being gay. I came out to them last year, and apart from a little shock, they seem to be totally OK with it. So is my brother, who was the first person I came out to. He's 3 years older than me, and lives in Australia. He told me "dude, its not even an issue". Since them, I've come out to about 7 or 8 people outside my family, and havent had a bad reaction yet. I've been really lucky, and am grateful for having such good friends. Still, havent told any of my MALE friends yet, cos I dont know how they'll react. And I never, ever plan on my hockey team finding out.

How did I find this place? I met eddi on another message board and he eventually convinced me people were hotter here that elsewhere, hahaha. Hes totally been proved right.
