One Last Breath

There was a little bit of controversy with myself about the real meaning of this song. It first sounded to me like he was saying that he was not afraid of death. But the more I look at the verses and get off the chorus a little bit, it seems more along the lines of suicide. Stapp did say that two of his good friends had commit suicide, and he was very devestated about that, but I dont know when exactly that happened.

In the song it says: "I’m looking down now that it’s over. Reflecting on all of my mistakes." I think that that means that he is looking at all the things he has done wrong right before "It's over."

However, at the end of the song there is hope...

Its says:"Sad eyes follow me, but I still believe there's something left for me..." Whew! It would be a shame with no more Creed to listen to! Then it goes on to say "But I still believe there's something left for you and me." I am wondering who the "you" was. At first I thought of a loved one, like his wife. But then I thought of God... Earlier in the song he says:"I thought I found the road to somewhere, Somewhere in His grace." The only thing is, is that you is not capitalized... I dont know... Anything you guys want to add? Thanks.
