The mouths of envious
Always find another door
While at the gates of paradise they
beat us down some more
But our mission’s set in stone
‘Cause the writing’s on the wall
I’ll scream it from the mountain tops
pride comes before a fall
That means that the people who envy the band will keep bashing at them to the end, but, since "thier mission is set in stone," they wont give up what they are doing and they'll keep doing it until they die. And they will be proud of what they do, despite the criticism...
Then it also says in the song "Soon there will come a day when your face to face with me." and, "Can’t you hear us coming?" I'm wondering if this means that they want some sort of revenge or something.
The second verse is a little wierd though... I'm still not sure what it means... I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Please dont be shy to e-mail me @ animalsmymiddlename@hotmail.com Thanks!
