The Bingo Kings are an upcoming hardcore/punk band. Their roots are in the Algonac area. Their major influences are earth crisis, fordirelifesake, 25 ta life, bad brains, skycamefalling, black flag, and code 13. They have four members, three guys, and one girl.
The band is:
Mike Clark- Guitar and vocals
Lorne Morris- Guitar and vocals
Scott Lamparski- Bass
Angie Lipa- Drums
The Bingo Kings started off as just a couple of kids who wanted to play music and hang out. Lorne, Scott and Mike started playing music together in early January of 2001. With both Lorne and Mike on guitars and Scott on bass they had a pretty good sound that would soon provide the base for an actual band. They weren't too serious and rarely got anything done music-wise. Then they started to get more serious when they picked up a singer and a drummer, Ben and Big P. They soon started to play more and more often. But after a while the band went through a lineup change and went on without Ben and Big P. They also picked up a new drummer, Angie. The Bingo Kings are currently practicing like crazy and are writing new songs. The Bingo Kings are hardcore with many influences tossed here and there. You can expect to see The Bingo Kings sometime soon, so keep your eyes open.
My two cents: I have met these guys, they are cool and seem very dedicated to the music, so check them out.
