Not much to say here. A bunch of kids picked on me, because I liked Metallica and i acted like a moron. I started listening to heavy music and my outlook on life changed...

No actually I moved to Algonac Michigan a little before the start of 9th grade. I had just been in home school so I wasn't ready for highschool. Kids picked on me for my name (Guy Groomes)(yeah you can stop laughing now)and crap and because I listened to Metallica and at the time thought they were the best.

I moved away from there but the kids in Algonac taught me some important lessons. First music wasn't what I thought it was. MTV bands really sucked and were sellouts, which before I was into.

So I started listening to Factory 81 when I heard the song Nanu on MTV2. I bought their cd and really got into them. My favorite song off that cd is 3 0'clock love letter. Then I bought the Soulfly Primitive cd and it kicked ass. Then I bought the Less than Jake Boarders and Boundaries cd and got more into punk.

Well eventually I became a full fledge punk/hardcore/underground music fanatic. My favorite bands are Soulfly, Taproot, Factory 81, The Sicks, Less Than Jake, and The Dead Kennedys. I like promoting local bands because a lot of them work really hard and deserve some recognition.
