Ch.13 originated in a small town called Royal Palm Beach. A man named Michael Laterza had begun writing music. He was moved to Royal Palm at the age of 14 halfway into his freshman year of highschool. He had almost no friends at this school and found most of his time was being spent with his guitar.
He was determined to form a band. In his own mind he considered himself blessed with the talent of musical composition, but had very limited materials and money. His father had recently filed for bankruptsy and bought him a guitar with some of the last bits of money. Michael was very determined to
Continue pursuing his dream. His dream to become a guitarist for a world famous band. He quickly looked around searching for other band members with very little success. He then found a friend by the name of Jake Summers , an 18 year old boy who also played guitar. They both recorded and wrote
together their first two albums, which were very below adaquate. Michaels Lack of funds gave him very few visits with Jake. Michael began writing on his own. He wrote 2 more albums which did suprisingly well in the eyes of family and friends. He still had no band. He quickly asked his sister to
Play the keyboards for him. She quickly accepted but showed little dedication to writing and performing and was quickly excluded. Michael began hunting for people again and found Robert Vinison, a drummer. The band was complete Jake had switched over to bass, Michael on guitar, and Robert on Drums.
But there was still one problem: Location. Jake and Robert lived hundreds of miles away and practice seemed impossible. Michael soon came with good news of his return to his bandmates and they all became overjoyed. Michael still lives in Royal Palm But will soon move back.
Ch.13's influences vary from heavy meatal, to classic rock, to ska. The music they listen to on a regular basis is implanted into each of their brains subconciously. Like Pink Floyd, and Sublime, and Metallica. The three main bands in thier sound
They always try to make each song completely original, but stil enjoyable. They are all tired of the same old sound that is being produced and are trying to push things forward.
